🌊 “Lead Me to the Rock That Is Higher Than I” 🌊

At Living Waters Church, we explored how Christ is our unshakeable Rock in the storms of life. Just as the towering Rock of Gibraltar symbolises refuge and strength, so God stands immovable as our ultimate source of confidence and stability.
From King David's cry in Psalm 61:2 to Jesus calming storms in Mark 6, we were reminded to stop straining at the oars of life and invite Jesus into our boat.

What a powerful morning at Living Waters Church as we dived into 2 Timothy 4:7—Paul’s final charge to his spiritual son, Timothy.

💪 We are called to fight the good fight! Life isn’t easy, and faith is a battle—but we don’t fight alone.
🏃 We must run the race with endurance! The Christian life isn’t a sprint, but a marathon, and Jesus is at the finish line, waiting with the victor’s crown.
🛡 We must guard the beauty of our faith! The Gospel is a treasure worth protecting—let’s not trade it for convenience or compromise.

What battle are you fighting today? Are you still running your race? Is your faith something you guard or something you take for granted?

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened…” – Jesus (Matt. 11:28)

A powerful morning at LWC!

In a society that’s never been wealthier or healthier, why are so many of us still aching deep inside? We explored this paradox—and the beautiful invitation Jesus gives to the weary, the anxious, the burned out: Come to Me.

Not to more stuff.
Not to more scrolling.
Not to self-help.
But to Him. The One who offers rest for our souls.

🔹 We looked at Psalm 27 and saw how King David walked this path—by dwelling in God’s presence, gazing on His beauty, and seeking His wisdom.
🔹 We unpacked Jesus’ surprising solution: not to cast off all burdens, but to yoke ourselves to Him—to walk in rhythm with grace.....

As a people of His Presence, His Pleasure, and His Purpose.

💧 “Come to the Waters” — A word of encouragement! 💧

This morning at LWC, we stepped into Isaiah 55, where God doesn’t just suggest but calls—urgently, generously, openly:

“Come, all you who are thirsty…”

In a world that leaves us dry and unsatisfied, we heard the radical invitation of grace:
✔ Come without money
✔ Come without qualifications
✔ Come thirsty… and receive joy, nourishment, and life.

We don’t come because we’ve got it all together.
We come because He holds it all together.

God’s table is still set. The invitation still stands.
Come. Draw near. And live.

🔥 NO FEAR, JUST FIRE 🔥

A challenge to every believer: the Spirit in you is not afraid—He is FIRE!
We were reminded that God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7). The embers are still there; now it’s time to fan them into flame.

🙌 Worship sweeps off the ashes.
📖 The Word fuels the fire.
🙏 Prayer fans it to life.

Some of us have been walking around with smoke where there should be fire. But God didn’t call you to survive. He called you to burn.

Let’s guard the flame, walk boldly, and witness without shame. No more masks. No more shrinking back. Just fire.

THE BEST IS YET TO COME 🍷

At LWC, we stepped into the joy, purpose, and promise found in the first sign Jesus gave — at a wedding, not a synagogue or the temple.

💬 “You have saved the best till now!” — That one sentence from John 2 holds the weight of heaven’s declaration: your best days are not behind you — they are ahead of you.

From shame to joy, from stale ritual to overflowing grace, Jesus didn’t come to fix empty religion — He came to transform us from the inside out. He turned water into wine to show us that His Kingdom isn’t about scarcity — it’s about abundance. That’s the kind of Saviour we follow.

📍 Where are you being invited to radical obedience this week?
📍 Are you still clinging to old jars when He’s offering new joy?

🚨 The sign at Cana isn’t a miracle to admire. It’s a direction to follow.

🔥 This is not the end of your story. Jesus saves the best for last.

🌊 This Morning at LWC — “Lost & Found” 🐑✝️

Today we celebrated the reckless love of God — the kind of love that leaves the ninety-nine to go after the one.
We heard the story Jesus told of a shepherd who searches, carries, and rejoices — not just over a sheep, but over you.

“And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home.” — Luke 15:5

At today’s baptisms, we didn’t just witness a ritual — we witnessed rescue.
People declared publicly: “I was lost. But Jesus found me.”
And just like in the parable, we know that heaven threw a party.

Whether you were in the room or just watching from a distance, let this truth settle in:
📍You are not forgotten.
📍You are not condemned.
📍You are the one He came to find.

“No Eye Has Seen”

This Sunday we were reminded that “Your past does not disqualify you from your future in Christ!”

From 1 Corinthians 2:9, we saw that God has already prepared more for you than you could ever imagine — a new life that is:

✅ Adoption into His family with full rights
✅ Freedom from the powers that bound you
✅ Direct access to the Father’s presence
✅ The indwelling of the Holy Spirit
✅ Authority to speak life and see breakthrough
✅ Supernatural peace and inexpressible joy

The door is open. The table is set.
Don’t settle for religion when the Father offers relationship. Step into everything God has prepared for you — now.

What a powerful time in God’s presence at LWC! We opened up Colossians 1 and were reminded that we’re not just called to believe in Christ—but to host Him.

From alienation to adoption… from suffering to stewardship… from mystery to manifestation… we declared the unstoppable truth: Christ isn’t just near you—He lives in you. That’s our hope. That’s our glory. And that’s the fuel for our mission.

We’re not just building a church. We’re raising up mature sons and daughters of the Kingdom—called, equipped, and sent.

⚔️ Let’s live like good soldiers of Christ Jesus, carrying His presence into every part of our world.

What a powerful Sunday at Living Waters Church! 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥  

John reminded us that God does His best work in the darkest places—whether Jeremiah’s prison cell or the prodigal’s pigsty. Both images tell the same truth: even at rock bottom, God’s word breaks through!!!

👉 “Call to me and I will answer you,” says the Lord (Jeremiah 33:3).
👉 And like the prodigal, when we come to our senses, the Father runs to meet us—not with condemnation, but with compassion, restoration, and an upgrade: the robe, the ring, and the sandals.

BEAUTY FOR ASHES — Sunday at Living Waters Church

What a morning in the presence of God! 🔥

We stood in the ashes with Isaiah and watched as the Breath of the Sovereign Lord began to blow once again — breathing life into dry places, healing shattered hearts, and crowning the broken with beauty.

We were reminded that Jesus is the promise of Isaiah made flesh — the One who binds up the brokenhearted, sets captives free, and brings light into our darkest prisons. And now He has handed the scroll to us.......

You are called.
You are chosen.
You are an ambassador of the Gospel.

And your message is simple and powerful:
"There is beauty for ashes".

Sermon: Eyes on the prize! 

Today we looked at what it really means to “run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1–3).

🏀 We started with Steph Curry — the greatest three-point shooter of all time. Behind every basket he’s scored are a thousand unseen practice shots. Greatness doesn’t come in a moment — it comes from daily discipline, relentless focus, and eliminating what hinders.

The writer of Hebrews says the same about our faith:

"Throw off every weight that slows you down".

Cast off the sin that entangles.

Run the race with endurance — not a sprint, but a lifelong marathon.

And above all, fix your eyes on Jesus — the pioneer and perfecter of faith, the finish line, the prize.

We are not running away from things. We are running toward Him. Eyes on the prize!

📖 Romans 8:35–39 | 1 Samuel 17

What. A. Service.

We came in facing giants.
But we walked out carrying swords.
Because when the enemy said “You can’t”—God said, “You already won.”

David didn’t wait for courage. He earned it in the fire.
He didn’t show up with strength — he showed up with faith.
And with just a sling, a stone, and the Name of the Lord — the giant fell!

The enemy shouted.
But God spoke louder.
Because even when the enemy camps in your praise,
you are STILL more than a conqueror!

- You were made for victory.
- You were born for breakthrough.
- And you’ve been crowned in the valley where kings are forged!

The battle you’re in is not the end of you — it’s the making of you.
You don’t fight to win — you fight from the win!

The conqueror in you is rising.
And your breakthrough? It’s going to bless somebody else!

The Power of New Beginnings

Today we were reminded that our God is still the God of the reboot. Just like Israel in Isaiah 43:18–19, He tells us:

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!”

Your past doesn’t get the final say—your future does. 

God is opening new doors, clearing out the junk that holds you back, and making a way in your wilderness. He’s bringing streams of living water into dry places, pouring out grace not just for you, but for your whole family and generations to come.

He is not done with you—He’s just getting started. 🔥
