Inspired by  an old flame and a Hallmark Greeting card, this was intentionally written with The Whites in mind. To my surprise, and delight, they recorded it  thanks to Jerry Douglas ( who played on the demo) playing it for Ricky Skaggs, who produced the act. It became the title cut of their Curb Records album and their last chart hit, as well.
