What’s Your Name sets the tone with sleek rhythms and a pulsating cosmic groove, its vocal fragments floating like signals across the stars. intimate yet expansive. In Dark Sun, a collaboration with Futura, the atmosphere turns darker and hypnotic, with low-end gravity and subtle textures that pull dancers into orbit. Finally, Anestesia, alongside Guilherme Rossi, feels like a futuristic lullaby, where sharp percussion and ethereal pads suspend time in a dreamlike drift.

PREMIERE: Traps for Rats - Twenty candles

This was a blast to make. Still working on it, but just needed it get it done for now.  Way funkier than my normal comfort zone, but I'm loving bringing in new sounds and structures. Makes me both laugh and bass-face at the same time.

The Take

Minim Records seventh release features a single from two amazing Montreal based artists Ohm Hourani, the mind behind Anoma / Interpret & Gab titled “Vicho”. Bringing a flare of distinctive minimalism kissed with jazzy flair and sophistication that Ohm Hourani has been associated with globally. Atypical drum beat held in place by atmospheric sounds, incorporating abstract lyrics and several acoustic elements, this one is not to be missed by minimal music lovers. This 180g wax also includes two stellar remixes. No need for introductions, the incredible and ever-changing innovator Jay Tripwire turns up the jets on Vicho turning into an acid-loving bomb. Minim’s own Ruslan flares it up with a tight driving kick, body moving bassline, and carefully programmed synths always evolving reminiscent of the timeless music of late 90’s - early 2000’s. 180g, Vinyl Only, Early support from Andrey Pushkarev, Topper, and Maksim.

Evolving producer / composer, focused on soundscape-oriented, frequency-minded music, with frequent travels into the minimal, atmospheric and pounding. I want my tracks to work for dancing, sleeping, meditating, and blissing - or any combination of the above.  I am ultimately focused on nervous-system entrainment, experimenting with the edges of that practice through both aggressive and gentle rhythms, ignoring genres as much as I can. But I assume most people would call most of it somewhere between ambient, techno (full spectrum between soft and hard), house, and downtempo. 
I am basically using SoundCloud as a journal. I am uploading the tracks I make that I think I like - even if I don’t think they are done. I am hardly mastering or editing the tracks, since my obsession for now is getting in touch with the sounds that are in my head  and heart and gain confidence that I can turn them into music.
