Ayumi Hamisaki is one of my living heroes. In 2004 I entered a ayu-ru-mix contest. Kept making songs until 06’.
I took her vocal only tracks and re-wrote the music(programmed or played the instruments). I wrote from the ground up with her ‘From Your Letter’ vocals. 
All 5 are RAW mixes. 
Tuning: C#standard(6st) to DropA(7str).

I thought this one was gone forever - turns out I just found an old request from a friend that I actually did honor... but forgot to send. Eight months ago!
It was my Tech-Pop piece, stripped of all the K-Pop elements.
I reworked the sweep timing to match the vocal phonics - making sure nothing clashed - but there are no vocals, no
"cute" sounds.
By the second chorus I realized something:
I didn't miss the vocals at all.
