Smash Deep have established a coveted position as the finest tastemakers of the deeper side of electronic music, and their latest new signing Hreez shines on ‘Be The One’. As talk of festivals, long summer days spent partying and nightclubs returning intensifies, Smash Deep drop another bomb that is set to be the soundtrack for eagerly awaiting dance music fans.

A roaring filtered synth tone and sweeping stabs pierce through the early stages of the song. These are quickly joined by the catchy vocal that makes things interesting early on. The beat is full of a groove that is guaranteed to get people on their feet and dancing. Hreez makes expert use of the vocal in the drop, expertly crafting a new dynamic, chopping up the vox and pitching the samples to breathe new life into the track and make sure it stays interesting. 

Fledgling artist Hreez has had releases on other labels like Revealed Radar, Lowly, Frequency Music and his ‘Forever’ collaboration with Lumberjack on HEXAGON, which featured on the HEXAGON Festival Weapon’s EP.
