This was a solo acoustic bass jam I worked on for awhile as a one off. I'm not sure what to do with it, since it is challenging to syncopate other rhythms with something this mathy, but it has a strong drill to it, so I figure I should keep it around until I figure something out or even just on its own terms.

Drain

This version of The Path was recorded during my Junior year of college in the midst of fall exams after getting no fucking sleep and doing 20 hours of work for take home exams do the next day, sitting back about 5 feet from a single NT1-A mic, guitar and vocals recorded simultaneously. One of the best captures I've had of the piece, though I've done better live a handful of times. Not great quality and I've made some changes to the song since then, but it is a pretty solid representation.

The Path

I just figured I would upload to the remaining 87 servers that make up the internet a preview clip of our next show. We talk about eating George or sending him on an expedition, solve the under-over toilet paper roll debate, and decide that I am the nicest host of the three of us.
