On Saturday, May 21, 2023, Felipe Valenzuela delivered a live performance at Club Der Visionäre. This event was particularly significant as it was organized during a challenging period for Valenzuela, following the loss of his mother, with May 21 being her birthday. Friends of Valenzuela had been highlighting the impressive work he was producing in the studio despite his isolation. They encouraged the organization of this performance to share his creations with a wider audience. AirFunk decided to release it on a first special edition record—experience the heartfelt music that emerged from this poignant moment.

French-born and Barcelona-based, Jo Kazan lands on Espacio Cielo with Ride of the Bat, a double A-side that moves between shadowy club euphoria and cinematic nostalgia. The title track is a proper dancefloor weapon - brooding, driving, and tailor-made for late-night indie dance rituals. JG Outsider dials up the EBM intensity, turning it into a full-blown sonic missile that leaves no survivors.

On the flip, Whispers of the Southlands trades brute force for emotion, unfolding like a melancholic daydream powered by shimmering arpeggios. Label regulars Silicodisco and Mao Fonnegra team up again to remix it, adding muscle and mystery while keeping the cape firmly on your shoulders - yes, it's giving synthwave Superman.

After solid works published on Feinstoff, Club Mackan, and Volition, to name a few, French-born, Barcelona-based producer Jo Kazan arrives on the Espacio Cielo imprint with “Ride of the Bat,” a compelling two-original EP that showcases his ability to craft music with both dance-floor impact and emotional resonance. The parcel is complemented with reworks from JG Outsider (FREEDL052) and the collaborative team of Silicodisco & Mao Fonnegra, offering listeners multiple perspectives on Kazan's distinctive sound. With its carefully balanced blend of club energy and atmospheric depth, this EP demonstrates why Kazan has been gaining attention in the Indie Dance and Dark Disco circuits.

Premiered here, the title track immediately establishes itself as the EP's centerpiece – a dark, pulsating journey that commands attention from the first beat. Built around a muscular, undulating bassline that seems to breathe with its own organic energy, the theme creates an almost palpable sense of anticipation. Kazan layers in subtle melodic elements with surgical precision, allowing just enough light to pierce through the track's shadowy foundation.
