Metha's first album 'Flashback' does not only recall his long-way paths till this very point, but also presents where he is headed now. By genre, it may be categorized as something between techno and tech-funk, but as we know Metha and BeMassive, this has never been truly important. What really matters is the unique rebel style of the music and the producer, on which many well-known artists had an influence e.g. Elite Force aka Simon Shackleton, Meat Katie, Oliver Huntemann, Andre Winter, Evil Nine, Mike Hulme and many others. These producers listed here have all been shown on Metha's own party-series 'Bemassive' to the audience, in order to make them be a part of the music experience and be inspired, just like he was.

Some tracks of the album have already been released as single EPs, so we are truly grateful for the opportunity of releasing them on our own record and by our labeling! Many of the singles were huge hits on Beatport and received positive reviews on Mixmag.

The breakbeat songs reveal Metha's sounding between 2011-'14, while the techno ones such as Come Home My Little Yeti, Crash, Alfa were created at the end of 2014, showing the way he is currently on.

This is also the reason why Alfa is the last song on the release. Further uniqueness of the album are the two bonus tracks: Flack Su created an outstanding remix for Metha after many years of retirement as a kind of step to reappear. Besides that, Yreane's Massive remix will also make a huge mark on the record. All of the tracks were remastered by Beat Tempest Studios for the album.

Special thanks go to Kid Panel, who had a great impact on Metha's path to become a music producer, Lot49, Vim Records, Kindcrime Recordings, Egothermia Records, Breaks.sk and to Meat Katie, Dylan Ryhmes and Ruiz Sierra as well.

Come Home my little Jeti

Simon Shackleton’s next outing as Elite Force finds him remixing one of Hungary’s 
most influential underground figures to commemorate a significant milestone in 
the nation’s clubbing history.
A mainstay of the Budapest scene, Metha runs the city’s hugely popular BeMassive 
parties and its eponymous record label. Over the years, he’s invited numerous 
topflight DJs to rock his events but he only had one person in mind to remix ‘Ugly 
Cowboy’, a track that marks two decades of BeMassive. 
“It’s a sincere honour to celebrate BeMassive’s 20th anniversary alongside my 
personal idol, Elite Force,” said Metha. “This release is exceptionally important for 
me. It doesn’t just pay tribute to the musical legacy of the past 20 years but also 
celebrates our deep friendship. ‘Ugly Cowboy’ defines the sonic landscape of
BeMassive to this day – dirty, massive and energetic.”
Indeed, Metha’s original is a full-blooded breakbeat workout that brings real 
energy to the dancefloor, with distorted bass blasting out below crisp, cantering 
drums and static electric fizzes that add more voltage.
Frankly, Shackleton is a perfect artist to add his own take. His work as Elite Force 
pioneered this sound and though he’s a master craftsman of several styles, he 
never fails to deliver irresistible breaks. Here, he effortlessly compresses time with 
a tough floor filler that nods to the classic tech-funk era of the late noughties but 
swells with the full frequency production techniques of 2023. Excitable vocal 
exclamations burst out of his re-rub while heavily processed sounds and a roaming, 
saw-tooth bassline keep things raw and hypnotic. With the tension mounting, a 
skewed and acidic lead synth busts out and sprays around the mix causing the best 
kind of carnage.
“I’ve DJed for my good friend Metha for many years, playing at his epic BeMassive 
events in Budapest, and during that time I’ve seen his music evolve and flourish,” 
said Shackleton. “It’s a real privilege to create a remix for this milestone release 
and doing so under my Elite Force alias was the best fit for the original.
“Metha is one of those rare unsung heroes you occasionally meet when you travel 
the world,” added Shackleton. “He’s a legend in Hungary and is just as capable of 
filling dancefloors with tech-house and techno as he is with breakbeat or emotive 
house. There aren’t many DJs that can say that and, as such, he deserves a much 
bigger platform on the world stage.”
With ‘Ugly Cowboy’, Metha and Shackleton ensure BeMassive’s 20-year legacy will 
echo through the canyons of dance music.

Metha's newest EP, Blitz, has just arrived. The Original kicks out with a massive leg-shaking groove, rolling into the break accompanied by the Metha-sounding cranky, mysterious synths. The break itself is the peace before the storm. Then the track completes itself with a great catchy arp synth.
The release contains two domestic remixes. SanFranciscoBeat builds on a massive baseline, rethinking Metha's stormy ideas sneaked into the atmosphere of techno arenas. Raul Young's remix is somewhat a deeper set-up, forging the original concept with darker themes and tremble moog synths.
