Shamanic Tales is proud to unveil our first sonic journey for 2025: "Lux" by Giorgia Angiuli-her debut release with the label. This intense and driving dancefloor rocker features beautiful melodies laid on top of galloping addictive beats, and laced with a hypnotic ethereal chant-like singing “Lux est cibus animae” (in Latin: light is food for the soul). Giorgia aims to remind the listener and dancer of the transcendental connection between light, sound and inner awakening and the part a collective dancefloor experience can play in advancing it.

Label partner Mia Lucci is kick starting the year with a brand new Kindisch release. Her ‘Screenplay EP’ marks the first release of the year and reinforces the label’s dynamic soundscape and its eclectic approach to quality, timeless music. The EP peeks its head into the House space with ‘Audrey Hepburn’.  A gritty bass line sways between the beats as vocal samples ignite the track. Friends With A Camel’ follows suit, with a sweat-filled session aimed at getting the dancefloor moving. ‘Chocolate Meister’ rounds off the EP with a dominant house percussion taking command as the bass falls in line. Bouncy and groovy, the track fills the room with a classic vibe.

In Colour returns to Kindisch with a brand new EP and a brand new experience. ‘How’s The Head?’ featured two tracks full of melody and smooth, buttery groove. The title track brings a soft vibe together with a fantastic musical soundscape and plenty of surprises. Never holding on for too long, the track brings many different parts together slowly to create a warm evolution. Next up is ‘TV’, with a natural percussion leading the charge into another warm and inviting experience. Yet again, he spins together different elements that each tell their own story, creating a multi-faceted listening experience. From the first bittersweet chords, to the vocal cuts, and then introducing a crunchy bass; the track packs enough energy for the dancefloor, yet soft enough for home listening.

Italian Sandro Beninati makes his Kindisch debut with a pair of tracks suited for the dancers. With plenty of releases behind him, Sandro comes once again to deliver the goods – this time a heavy house-y number ripe for the floor. First up is the title track, ‘Night Mode’. Sandro takes us on a warm journey through a laid back world of tech-house influences and afterhour ideas. On to ‘Skyrim’, a percussive orgy of all shapes and sizes, deep heavy kicks, the high rolls on top and enough pressure to give any decent sound system a run for its money. File under, ‘to be played loud’.

We are back with an artful new EP, this time from Italian artist Giorgia Angiuli. 

This composer and producer is based in Florence and has released on labels like Harry Klein, Stil vor Talent and Crosstown Rebels as well as Kevin Saunderson’s KMS. She is also in groups like the audio visual outfit We Love on BPitch Control, and has played at major clubs and festivals around Europe. Mixing up dark pop and techno styles, she is a singular artist who is sure to pick up many new fans with this great EP.

The alluring ‘Revive’ is an intoxicating mix of closely mic’d vocal whispers and gritty guitar riffs. Scattered drum hits and blistered synth lines all add to the shadowy nature of the track and help flesh out the compelling groove. 

The brilliantly fluid title track ‘You Are My Religion’ is a more club-focused affair with a modulated lead synth line that slithers about and casts a spell on the listener. Delicate melodic droplets rain down as a pained pad brings heartache to the mix and it all makes for an absorbing fusion of light and dark.

Last of all, the majestic ‘Miracle’ is a sombre, well shaded hymn. More pained and vulnerable vocals are the centre piece, with minimal grooves and percussion unfolding below as gently lilting balearic chords off-set the humanness with little rays of hope.

These are three terrific tracks that are as beguiling as they are beautiful.

First is M.A.N.D.Y.’s take and the boys deliver an electrified version, with an extra dose of groove to make the track brilliant dance floor experience. M.O.N.R.O.E. keep the tracks elements at bay with an air of minimalism as he transforms the track into a tech-house machine. Venturing into afterhour territory is Anthony Georges Patrice, laying pads out under the percussions to give the track a dreamy warmth and smoothness. And finally, at the very end, the original waits. Reminding us of what Tantsui are all about – deep, subtle vibes and a natural, organic feel.
