Known for creating enriching house music, Italian Canadian DJ and producer Paolo Rocco is in fine form once again as he makes his first outing on Chris Stussy’s Up The Stuss imprint. Following up a selection of material via FUSE, Berg Audio, Rutilance Records and his own RAWMoments imprint, his ‘To The Stars And Beyond’ EP is an exemplary showcase of his vast talent in the studio, delivering a selection of silky, classy, deep, and spaced-out trips. Meeting the sunset on the way home so as to get a rare press is priceless! The pedometer merely indicated a long-awaited rest. Having settled down near their favourite coffee table, the friends lay down and thoughtfully stared at the ceiling. The cartridge gently skidded on the shiny black surface. The grooves rotated a carousel of bass and percussion, transmitting a heartfelt rhythm to everything around. Bright envelopes scattered all over the living room were the keepers of the real mystery.

Sebastian Ledher & Alessio Bianchi join forces for their '5AM' EP on NoZzo Music.

Two of Tech House's foremost underground names come together on the latest EP on NoZzo Music. With releases on Play Groove Recordings, Saved Music, Deeperfect, La Pera Records, 303Lovers and many more, they combine for an impressive offering on Tomi & Kesh's increasingly popular imprint alongside rising talent Ammo Avenue on remix duties for '5AM'.

Kicking off with the title cut, '5AM' dives headfirst into a flurry of rolling rhythms and catchy bassline grooves. Punchy percussive-heavy drum work steers the track forwards amidst a wealth of playful twists and turns, loaded with offbeat fills, quirky vocal chops and subtle melodies to carve out an undeniable terrace-ready vibe-builder. 

Ammo Avenue follows with his remix of '5AM', serving up a chunky swinging number from the outset. Shuddering drums and swinging percussion build the groove here, fattened by a catchy sub-bass melody and a sea of creative sample injections alongside a warped vocal arrangement that leads onto several mind-bending throwdowns throughout the track. 

'AM2PM' rounds off the release with a rippling wave of rolling beats and ricocheting percussive drive. A certified underground heater, its stripped-back approach with subtle, soulful licks focuses on creating that perfectly undulating dancefloor vibe that will have you on your toes from start to finish.

Stef Davidse - Open Doors

The second instalment welcomes contributions from both sides of the Atlantic, as styles from London and Los Angeles join. Jaden Thompson's remix of 'Wolf' is a typically slick and sharp effort, harnessing the vocals and bringing a no-nonsense groove to proceedings to deliver a remix set to lock crowds in a groove. 'Jaden has been a friend of mine for some years now, and sharing the stage with him always is a pleasure. He made a very interesting remix of 'Wolf', and hearing the vocals on a stomping beat like this works like a charm.'
 
Wrapping things up, Liquid Earth journeys down a funk-fuelled pathway as he gives 'Master Plug' a fresh lease of life, combining crisp percussion arrangements with resonant bass licks and spiralling acid-tinged leads effortlessly. 'I've been following Liquid Earth for some years now and rinsing everything that he has released. He set a really different tone with his remix of 'Master Plug' and made something very special of it.'
