Rekids welcomes back Tal Fussman with the I Feel EP, following up his 2024 Definition EP on Radio Slave’s label, which won support from the likes of Honey Dijon, Orlando Voorn, Yu Su, Saoirse, Dave Clarke, and more.

The Innvervisions, COD3QR artist and Survival Tactics label boss starts I Feel with the title track and, in true Fussman fashion, infuses drummy club cuts with plenty of feeling via soulful synths and apt vocal sampling.

The rolling organic percussion of MAD continues, locking us in the groove while hard-hitting stabs fly above before Bongo Man channels the lush sounds of the rainforest alongside more expert drum work.

Closing out the I Feel EP, Tal Fussman works with fellow producer 8-AN to drop the dream-like strings of Life Itself, another deep track that is as club-ready as it is introspective.

Chile’s Matias Aguayo debuts on Rekids with ‘El Internet’, the first single of his upcoming album on Radio Slave’s acclaimed label. Coméme co-founder Aguayo’s ‘El Internet’ is a dancefloor-tested, pumping and uptempo track with personal, intimate vocals phoning in.

“El Internet” tells about walking through the city in hot summer nights looking for the perfect dancefloor and about moments in life where you feel (musical) freedom and change, revolutions in music and dreams in community, about YouTube, MySpace, Fotolog and about people who dance in their houses, yards and on the streets to primitive, raw, and direct music (like the rhythm of the track itself).”

Chilean-born musician and DJ Matias Aguayo has been active for three decades, co-founding the Cómeme label in 2009 and releasing work on the likes of Kompakt, Pschent, Hard Fist, and Permanent Vacation. Beyond music, he has organised underground parties and led social projects, including a theatre production at Le Châtelet in Paris.

Radio Slave’s Rekids was founded in 2006 and has since spawned successful oﬀshoots with the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its newest sublabel, REK’D, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been crucial in developing early artist careers and has become a haven for established acts operating in House and adjacent genres, having recently featured the likes of Hilit Kolet, William Kiss, Tal Fussman, Spencer Parker, Katerina, Sean Johnston, and many more.

Kiko Navarro & Pere Navarro (unrelated) land on Radio Slave’s Rekids with their first-ever EP, ‘Les Cousins’. Their debut release counts three tracks, merging infectious House grooves with Pere’s Jazz-inflected trumpet solos for a stylish EP rooted in classic sounds, yet with a distinct modern edge to it.

Both hailing from the Balearic Islands, Kiko, a seasoned DJ and producer from Mallorca with music on King Street Sounds, Pacha Recordings, Shall Not Fade and more, and Pere, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and DJ from Ibiza. Despite sharing a last name, the pair are not related, meeting for the first time at a private party where Pere spontaneously joined Kiko’s DJ set on trumpet, after which their partnership continued when Kiko invited Pere to record a trumpet solo for a Louie Vega remix, leading up to the creation of their debut ‘Les Cousins’ EP, landing on Rekids this May.

Rekids’ REK’D oﬀshoot drop ‘Make A Wish’ this May, the latest single from French artists Boogie Vice and N-You-Up. ‘Make A Wish’ is an energetic cut made for sunny weather, bringing infectious energy and featuring a debut, freestyle vocal from Congolese DJ and pianist Trulybles, who also plays the church organ coming in at the halfway mark, and whose voice shines in both the original and the jacking, club-ready ‘Kinky’ mix.

Boogie Vice is a Paris-born, Cape Town-based DJ and producer known for his groovy house and disco-infused sound, with releases on Ed Banger, Circa99, and CUFF. N-You-Up hails from Southern France, blending jazz, funk, and disco on labels like Nervous Records and Get Physical, while Trulybles is a jazz-trained musician whose hybrid sets fuse live piano and DJing, making his debut vocal appearance on Boogie Vice & N-You-Up’s ‘Make A Wish’ for REK’D.

Matt Edwards launched REK’D in October 2024 to release no-nonsense House music without the limitations of parent label Rekids. It has released dancefloor-ready EPs from artists such as St. David, Odee X, James Juke, James Curd, and more.

Danny Howells arrives on Radio Slave’s Rekids for the first time with the three-track ‘Throb’ EP, landing 16th May 2025. Howells, a quietly revered figure in house music since the mid ‘90s, delves deep across the ‘Throb’ EP, which celebrates subtle drum programming, otherworldly keys, and soundscapes throughout. The cossetting warmth of ‘Throb,’ a track which tips the smallest of nods to Danny’s role in the heyday of progressive house, was born out of a late-night studio session—long forgotten about and then rediscovered, re-appraised, as so many great tracks are.

‘Thrunk,’ another supremely heady cut, follows and sees keys slide around the mix, modulated and tweaked just enough to create a constant feeling of movement without losing balance, firmly rooted by a bassline that Howells, contrary to his usual practice, wrote first. Rounding things out on ‘Throb’ is ‘Threads,’ a track born out of a Fred P listening session and one that enlists London’s Elliot Herrington on keys. It’s an epic ode to classic Deep House, delivered in 2025 widescreen technicolour.

Danny Howells is a darling of British dance music. Emerging in the late 1990s with the likes of the era-defining Jackpot Records, his journey in dance music has always been about music, which has seen him eschew frantic touring and production schedules in favour of doing what he loves. Famous, for those in the know, as Cassy’s favourite DJ, Howell’s deft touch and subtlety as a DJ and Producer are evident in spades on ‘Throb.’
