The track was written in the thick of the pandemic where everything was supposebly shut down .The irony was that there was alot of activity and disruption where I live, inside and out, so to escape it all, I went for a long walk out of town to one of my favourite spots to clear my head and that is where the title came from ,hence the song was written.

''Be with you'' was written a couple of christmases  ago after a the passing of my friend a very close freind and great musician Richard Bridge. it was in the process of bieng written when he passed and took on a different meaning along with the lyrics changing somewhat .

''The Whitesheet kids came about after hearing an inteview with Berry Gordy about kids in the fifties that were forbidden to listen to Rhythm and blues or rock n roll in their own homes. They would smuggle a transistor radio to be with them to listen in private ,hence they were known as the ''White sheet kids. it also goes into the times of racial unrest but outlines musicians getting together regardless of colour.
