What is "Merkury"

I named this project Merkury because nothing else ever felt like it could hold me. Not my real name. Not the masks I wore to survive. Not the roles I was handed, forced to carry until I forgot who put them there.

Mercury is a liquid metal. It reflects, it poisons, it moves even when everything else is still. That’s what I felt like growing up. Unstable. Beautiful in ways I couldn’t hold. Dangerous in ways I didn’t understand. So I took that and I spelled it wrong on purpose. Because I’ve never done anything the way I was told to. Merkury became the shape I could pour myself into without breaking.

He lives in a white room. That room is my mind. Clean, controlled, empty on the surface. But inside it’s always dripping, sparking, glitching. Every album takes place in that room. First, I sat in it and told the truth. Then I started telling stories. Now, I’m becoming something else.

Merkury is the part of me that survived. The part that twisted the pain into something that could be used. He’s the messenger. The shapeshifter. The voice in the dark when nobody’s listening. He’s not always kind. He’s not always sane. But he’s honest. And he’s mine.

So this isn’t just music. This is a transformation. This is me turning into myself, one track at a time.
