In this take, Berdly assumes Susie's position. Instead of being a smartass like he was in Deltarune, he doesn't care about being intelligent nor trying hard to look smart anymore. In fact, he's more bitter and sour about it due to a societal pressure. This all happened because he never won the spelling bee contest as Dess never went missing at that time. Ember, the angel figure that can be found near Rudy's hospital bed, takes the role of Ralsei. The reason why is because the figure was crafted by both Noelle and Dess in their younger days and is supposed to be a subtle manifestation of Dess, and I thought this was a brain move if the Holidays get swapped with the Dreemurrs. Additionally, the Knight swaps with the Angel. The fountain is styled after the barrier, but not inherently the one from Undertale; just a forcefield that purposely shapes the realm of dusk. The town is replaced with a floating heavenly palace. Instead of the palace being dark, it's styled after a twilight.

However, it resembles Snowdin Town a lot more with winter and autumn swapping season. Furthermore, you'll explore the place during the night. To spice more things up, guitar swaps with piano and the song itself is styled after "You Can Always Come Home"/"Home" to suit the night setting.

In this take, Rouxls Kaard swaps with Seam. Rouxls is based on a sharpie highlighter, specifically the hot pink one. His appearance is quite the shine and spark, with lo-fi hip hop music playing in the background. He even strikes a pose whenever he feels like it. His name is "Charpei" pronounced "Sharpie". The whole shop is still, though more subtly, based on Party Dojo. However, the whole building is built upon a pencil case, meaning inside, Charpei sells stationery weapons, armors, and even consumable items. Charpei is known to be used for creating Partiser and Partiser Jr. before Partiser fell to bits. While Partiser Jr. is somewhere else trying to figure out about his father's whereabouts, Charpei is just chilling in his place, placing things in order and all that jazz. Partiser Jr. seems to live with his "morerer dad" in his shop. Once you finish talking to Charpei, Charpei will ask you to do him a favor; the very first clue to unlocking Partiser secret boss fight. He will tell you that he's been wondering where Partiser Jr. is at and is starting to get worried about him, so he wants you to find him and bring him back to the shop safely. He promises to give you a reward if you complete his side-quest. Moreover, you will also unlock more available discussing options.

In this take, Seam swaps with Rouxls Kaard, therefore they serve as Showman's partner in entertainment, and also a very old cat magician who just likes to chill and have a nice talk. They don't really care about capturing any Lightnant as they have no interest in it, however they only play along with the whole "anti-lightnant shenanigans" for the show. They are known as the ruler of the playroom Shadow Realm which makes them seam like they would be the chapter main boss, but it turns out that's not the case! Madge is still based on the cat doll, except it's not broken this time despite being so old. Their cane is based on a sewing needle. Madge also runs a shop, but it's not a simple shop where you just buy or sell stuff. It's a shop where you can even play a little harmless game called "Star Toss". If you manage to win this game, Madge will reward you 50SC (Shadow Coin), but you can only play this game 3 times at max. They can magically turn invisible while also still showing their eyes and mouth.

In this take, Gerson Boom swaps with Wingding Gaster. Both are the important figures in UNDERTALE with one serving as the royal guardsman and the other serving as the royal scientist. Not to mention, they have their own successor: Undyne succeeds Gerson and Alphys succeeds Gaster, however as the two swaps, the former follows according to the formula.

In this take, Ember, the angel figure that can be found near Rudy's hospital bed, takes the role of Ralsei. The song is styled after the scrapped version of the Legend. My reasoning for using "The Holy" as a motif it's because is used in "Flashback", which plays during Noelle scene in a hospital in a Weird Route.
It makes the use of that motif for The Legend even more ideal considering a holy being is telling a prophecy. Not to mention, it has a personal connection to Noelle and Noelle herself is an angel, who is also a holy being. Thanks again to @ravenjess27 for the dialogue! Edited by me, Moonster.

The small, round boy turns around and finds out that the saviors have been standing behind him for a short while.

E: "Had quite a tough luck, but we've finally found you!"
B: "That voguish merchant has requested us to escort you back to his shop."

In this take, Lancer, as known as Partiser Jr, is one of the two people who swaps with Jevil. This is one of the several swaps that strays a lot from the tradition of how it's originally handled in deltarune. Partiser Jr. is based on a paper angle (styled after a devil). He's red and quite saturated in color. In the Light Realm, Partiser Jr. is the only paper angel that doesn't get discarded for how adorable and small it is compared to the abandoned, scary and big one, Partiser, who is somehow Jr's father. Why did someone make Partiser to begin with? Well, perhaps they just thought it'd be clever to subvert the format. And being a child, surely they are a very creative individual who knows what they desire. Unfortunately, this poor creation just never came to fruition as they're seen as "freak" and "creep" for crafting something out-of-the-ordinary. I mean, a paper "devil"? What's so bad about it. Not like it's gonna haunt you in your nightmare or actually summon a devil to curse your entire family, haha. It's just a form of creative art. So instead of making it look like "it's gonna attack you whenever they feel like it", they decided to make it more child-friendly while still keeping the "devil" concept. In the Shadow Realm, he lives with his "morerer" dad, Charpei. Charpei has taken quite a good care of him despite his occasional annoyance. Now Jr. has set off on his quest to find his long-lost father, but of course something has to get in his way.

In this take, King is another role that Jevil, as known as Showman, takes beside Lancer. He is based on a talking plushie. He was once beloved by the Glownants until the they accidentally tore him apart. Being lonely and cut into three for a long time left a lasting negative effect on him. He began to show a very noticeable change of character and especially after directly meeting the Angel upon igniting their first flame of Shadow Crystal. As he is spliced into three pieces, he only has one mind, but his way of expressing themself is limited due to imperfection. Whether he likes it or not, they have to switch body everytime he wants to give a different impression, for instance: one is limited to only being able to metamorphose but lack the capability to perform like a true entertainer. But now that he's finally complete, let the festival begins!

AETHERCREST [Episode I] - SHOWMAN'S MAYHEM (OST 30)

K: "Noelle, did you not already promise me a box of chalk?"
N: "Oh, that's right!"
N: "Here you go, Kris!"
K: "Thanks."
B: "Wait so, what is that for exactly?"
K: "Susie."
B: "Huh??"
K: "She consumes chalks if you are wondering."
B: "WAIT, so this whole time the chalks keep going missing..."
B: "All because Susie secretly ate them all!?!?"
N: "Well, I guess it's just what she needs regularly."
B: "This is utterly despicable!"
B: "How are the teachers going to write on the board without the most significant item??"
K: "..."

Kris turns away walks off the screen.

In this take, Kris takes the role of Noelle. Human of the royal family. How lucky... though they are just a lonely kid who like to play video games in their spare time, sometimes their friends will invite them to play together. They have some tendencies that more than often strike people as... odd and creepy. Beside that, they are very reserved, formal and quiet, but they enjoy spending their time socializing with their friends, even if they don't say much or speak simple and short sentence. Currently, they are the second smartest student in Dawnside School. Yes, you heard that. They are naturally smart and know how to resolve a certain problem. They might as well make a great leader, in their own quirky way of course. However, they are also... struggling academically. It has been like that since something happened to their family... In any case, they don't have a dialogue portrait, but they do have unique speech sound.

And finally, I have decided to remade this piece to sound more fitting for Kris' character. As heard, this version is slower and in lower pitch. It even sounds like it's trying its hardest to keep it upbeat. I thought the chiptune approach is fitting for them considering how seemingly eccentric they are. Not only that, it's in line with the inclusion of "Your Best Friend".

In this take, Lancer is another role that Jevil takes. However, he is separated into 3 beings with shared mind and goal. The three parts are inspired by the 3 broken keys, which are used to unlock the prison door, leading to Jevil's battle.

- J-Man is the teal guy holding three balloons and has horse-like hair resembling a his carousel’s. His design is inspired one of the scrapped Jevil designs. Showman in this body can magically create anything you desire! Ice cream, balloons, games, and games! He can create fuzzy illusion of himself, which will make you feel dizzy. He’s a carousel rider. He takes the passionate, helpful, and insightful part of Showman’s personality. However, possessing this body will make him feel a sense of loneliness.

- V-Man is the purple guy with an egg-shaped physique. His design is inspired by another one of the scrapped Jevil designs. Showman in this body can extend his limbs and jump insanely high due to it being made out of spring material.  He takes the friendly, funny, and playful part of Showman’s personality. However, possessing this body will make him feel a sense of excessive pride.

- L-Man is the flying green guy without limbs and body, only head. However he has a big tail and a sharp nose loosely resembling the devilsknife. Showman in this body can metamorphize, teleport, and even clone himself. He takes the weirdly rational, talented, and manipulative part of Showman’s personality. However, possessing this body will make him feel a sense of dread.

In a meta sense, the scrapped design-inspired parts are the incomplete version of Showman, which ultimately become the Jevil we know at the end! The final, complete, and definitive version of Showman!

In this take, Chara and Frisk take the role of both W.D. Gaster and the Vessel respectively.

- Chara chose Frisk (who replaces the Vessel) as a subject to set off on a brand-new journey throughout the isles for reason that is not known yet. Unfortunately, this course of action was immediately halted by the strange man himself. Chara reached out to some people from the Shadow Realm through spiritual contact and voice. Afterwards, these people began to go insane and all they yearned for was a peaceful SILENCE.

- Frisk is one of the human characters stranded in one portion of Dawnside Isles. They seem to have been living there for at least a month. To survive, they have built a hut and campfire for the night. Sometimes they visit the beach to check if someone or something is sailing nearby, hopefully they can return home.

The intro scenario is inspired by MOTHER 3's, namely showing parts of the islands and eventually end in Frisk's hut. They will be shown sleeping at first, and then you will enter your name before they wake up. Instead of creating your own character, AETHERCREST's introduction begins with a legitimate tutorial with some quests added before a certain man interferes and messes it all up.

AETHERCREST [Episode I] - Good Morning (OST 1)

B: "Greetings my dear Noelle!"
N: "Oh hi Berdly! You came early too?"
B: "Nothing like an early bird already preparing for his grandiose rehearsal with his most talented companion!"
B: "Such a creative work of art must be preserved with utmost honor!"
N: "Well if you say so, fa ha ha!"
B: "Anyway, shall we begin practicing our duet, my good friend?"
N: "Actually, I think we should wait for Kris."
B: "Kris? You mean to say that you have recently added them to our band?"
N: "Sure! They can play piano in case you didn't know."
B: "So I've heard."
B: "Very well then, they may collaborate with us!"
B: "Although under ONE circumstance!"
B: "They must avoid cheating during our rivalry in Super Smashing Fighter!" (N: "Really now?")
B: "Otherwise, I'm afraid I will have no choice but to promptly remove them from our group!" (N: Hey, that's not fair!")

In this take, Berdly takes the role of Susie. Unlike his deltarune counterpart, He is humbler and kinder due to losing to Noelle on a spelling bee contest. Therefore he never tasted the superiority, the intelligence, and the recognition he's always desired to achieve. Although friendly and disregardful towards the societal pressure, he can still be annoying or somewhat reckless due to his poor social skill. He is just less of a rude smartass and much more focused towards his friendship with Noelle along with his geeky interests and hobbies.

I decided to make this new replacement sound more original and fitting for Berdly's new character since the last one was meant to fit more in "Susie" format. I also wanted Berdly and Noelle to be close friends from the start since I think it's much more interesting than having another Susie-Kris dilemma. I feel their friendship is rather underrated and I've seen some just make Noelle kick Berdly's ass or something with similar attitude which I find "eh...". Anyhow, the inclusion of "Girl Next Door" represents that he has a strong connection to Noelle, perhaps to the point of being dependent considering Noelle is the smarter one here. And he hopes he can impress her with something BIG so that he can finally feel 'worthy' of being the smart kid's buddy. I suppose it's akin to how "Smart Race" has "Queen" leitmotif in it due to rather similar reason. And lastly, I emphasized the "Rejected Concept" melody to symbolize that "this is Berdly's true self", and beside, he had a fear of being "rejected" if he didn't keep up with the superiority façade, didn't he? =P

AETHERCREST [Episode I] - Bluebird of Friendship (OST 5)

Noelle walks into the hospital room, causing Rudy to brighten up upon seeing her.

R: Hey, sweetie!
N: Hi, Dad!
R: How are you holdin' up?
N: I'm doing well.
R: How's recital practice comin' along?
R: Practicing your beautiful singing voice?
N: Y-Yeah, it's… coming along.
R: Hey, what's wrong?
N: Just… nervous, is all.
N: W-What if I mess up, in front of such a big audience?
N: And then everyone would laugh at me, and…
R: Hey. Listen.
R: You're not gonna mess up. You'll do great.
R: You've been practicing for weeks!
R: Besides, if you do mess up, no-one'll laugh at you.
R: They laugh one bit, I'll kick their asses.
N: Dad! You can't do that!!
N: Fa ha ha…
N: … Thanks, Dad.
R: Anytime, sweetheart.

Suddenly, her phone vibrates. An exclamation point appears above Noelle's head, and she checks her phone.

C: Waiting for you. Me and Jockington.
C: Come whenever ready.
C: Walk with us.
N: Oops! I almost forgot!
N: I gotta go, Dad, or I'll be late for my rehearsal!
R: Get going then!
N: Love you, Dad!
R: Love you too, sweetie!
R: You're gonna do great!

In this take, Noelle Holiday and her father, Rudy Holiday, take the role of Kris and Toriel, respectively. Noelle is an amiable and merry yet timid girl who occasionally struggles with expressing her thoughts and feelings out of fear. She also has difficulty refusing orders from other people and is generally rather compliant, given that she is raised by a fairly strict and cold mother. However, her father tends to balance things out along with her older sister who is always there to comfort her.

She is known as the class' smartest student and is always willing to help anyone who's having trouble with their grade, her close friend Berdly in particular. She is easily scared by a lot of things and often gets pranked on as well as frightened by her mischievous neighbor Kris.

You get to control her mind using the star to give her an idea of what to do. Let's just say, you're Noelle's intrusive thoughts but in another whole level. Noelle can still makes her own decision, though.

Holiday Hymn doesn't replace anything. It's simply its own thing that musically portrays the Holiday Family.
