Richard Hills plays Alexandre Luigini's 'Ballet Égyptien on the 1925 Wurlitzer organ of the New Gallery, Regent Street, London in 2011.  This was the third Wurlitzer to be installed in the UK and is Europe's oldest surviving original Wurlitzer installation.  The building is now the Burberry chain's flagship London store.

Editor's Note:
Here is another case where the concert is pasted together from two different recordings; The first lasts most of the concert, until the Astaire Medley, then it sounds like it is from a different source, capturing a different room sound.  I removed one of 2 comments from Jim Riggs about repeating his first three numbers for late arrivers (bussing issues) after the main concert, as those were not recorded again. They appear here as they were heard initially by convention attendees that were able to arrive on time.

Note: this unedited recording session tape has a few splices and decay, which causes a few second slowing of the recording in two spots over the hour and a half, one or two channel drop outs, but overall is in remarkable condition for being nearly 60 years old.

Olivier Messiaen - Diptyque  (Lew Williams, organ)

Bryan Rodwell plays the Odeon (former Paramount) Leeds 3/19 Wurlitzer organ in about 1967. This is the organ which is now in the Thursford Collection in Norfolk. Chatting about the Leeds organ with me one day, Bryan observed, "That were an organ wi' class, young John."

Aye, it were that.
