About the song:

The song is highly inspired by Magic City Hippies, 1975, and Jakub Zytecki.

“Out of old, into new” is the lyrical thesis, I suppose, of what I was feeling when I wrote the lyrics.

“So long to those lies. I’m awake, I’m alone, I guess this place is my home.”
Being alone is hard. Being awake to one’s situation can be difficult. And then the realization that where one ends up in life isn’t the path they set forth so long ago can really shake a person’s foundation. My foundations been shook, but “I stick to my words - I feel like it makes me tough.”

A world of childhood is such a magical place where a child can pick his/her own path in life based on desires.  The happiest moments occur during this time of life when you stand on the first step of a big pyramid. 
 When we are babies every object that surrounds us represent a miracle! Childhood is time of fairy tale life when We believe in magic, believe that there is only good in the universe and it always triumphs over evil.
 During this period, each baby has bright moments, and despite the fact that children gradually grow up, magical memories accompany a person for many years.  Sometimes, in order to feel the taste of life again, you need to go back to your childhood.  You cannot become a child again, but you can maintain this incredible mental attitude, when the world seemed unknown, you were thirsty for a discovery and you only wanted to have enough time to try everything in one day! Do not forget your inner child: There is always happiness, love & lots of laughs.

John Ludi is a musician/singer-songwriter/cultural relic with a diverse and "arty" array of influences and lyrical interests who was "Indie" before the term even existed. Working outside of the music industry by choice has given Ludi the ability to release songs of a level of lyrical depth that are anathema to the current culture.  Ludi lives off-grid in a yurt in the woods of WI and finds the materialistic priorities of our civilization incredibly wrong and destructive.
