V1.      After falling down, Prota (Protagonist)finds themself in humantale. You find... a mysterious friend... or foe. They call themselves your best friend. Next, meet Cocoa! She's the "sweetest" thing you've ever met. She'll guide you through the waterlogged ruins, and maybe she'll even give you a cooking lesson or two! She gets really mad if you steal her chocolate, so don't do that. There's also Clarisse, who practices her clarinet all day long. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx                                                       After leaving the ruins, you find a boy named Jerry. He seems scared of you and runs off. Continue walking to find Snowdin forest, home of the heroes Jerry and John! They introduce you to the place, and John tries to test you with various puzzles to determine if you're hero material or not. After fighting him, he'll invite you over so you can befriend his little brother, Jerry. Apparently, Jerry thinks John set him up and decides to try online dating with you, even though he's only one room over. You'll also meet Ben, who adores dogs.       xxxx                                                                               As you make your way towards waterfall, you find out about Hope from "your best friend." She's apparently a 6 year old girl who is amazing in combat. Her job is to protect the endangered grass, and shell kill anyone that harms it. She's really a wolf in sheep's clothing, or at least that's what you're told. You encounter her, but she seems reluctant to fight. you run off, and find yourself at Trash Zone. You find a hermit who's been living in the trash and fight them. After, Clarisse walks you to her house. You then go to the end room, where you encounter Hope yet again, where she fights you in hope of bringing her brother back, even though she knows it won't work. After beating her, you can talk to her about what's wrong and you'll learn she's really a sheep in wolf's clothing.                                                                    After entering hotland, you find a mysterious lab. You walk in, and find Oliver, the royal scientist. He explains to you about how the Underground works. He also tells you about Gaston, a robot he made while tinkering. The robot looks like mettaton, but he has a triangular shape and his hands aren't attached to his arms and have holes in them. He's really creepy and watches you a lot. You continue walking through hotland, and you make your way to a spider web. You fight a janitor who was trying to clean up the spider web mess. You make it to the core, where you meet Oliver. He tells you about the hands he gave to Gaston, which he got from the trash zone. Apparently, something happened to them, and he was acting crazy. When you meet Gaston at the end of the core, he transforms into a gaster-like robot that is named the Timekeeper. He has the ability to change time to the beat of the music.                   After beating TK, you go to Castletown where you find Eve. Eve is really nice, and only wants the best for humanity. She is the King's apprentice, and the best friend of Cocoa. She'll lead you through castletown, telling you the story of the humans. she gets to the throne room, but tells you to wait outside. You walk into the coffin room, and find all the monsters that weren't present. The humans were using the monsters magic! "Your best friend," who was really Hope's brother traps you in his mind and tries to tell you how to break them free. He had also found out about it, and tried to free them, but was killed by Eve and turned into a spirit. He leads you through Castletown, but the alarms are up and you have to run from Eve and dodge the lasers coming from the alarms. Finally, you get to the monsters. You try to free them, but before you could, Eve stops you, and you fight her. After winning, you free the monsters and break the barrier with all the human souls in the underground.
