One Foot in Front of the Other

BlueStar is a collective group of musicians, friends and family who have played together over four decades. Our origin is in the folk and Indie clubs and pubs in the southeast, spreading over the years northwards to West Yorkshire.  Principal players include John Mitchell on tenor guitar, mandolin and bass, David Topliff on banjo and guitar, Glenn Lamberton on guitar, Kevin Haugh on accordion, Neil Haverson on guitar, John Warner on Bass and Oliver Mitchell on the fiddle.
We like experimenting with Bluegrass, Blues and Jazz and you will hear elements of all these influences in our work.
