Yet another brilliant film by Christopher Nolan and yet another beautiful score composed by Hans Zimmer. Here I perform my piano version/cover of Interstellar's main theme, First Step. It's a slightly extended version since I play almost a full repeat of the song. I've also added string effects in the background for certain parts.

On June 2017,  the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) hosted three orchestral concerts called Galaxymphony which included some of the soundtrack from various space and sci-fi movies. This is their version of some of the Interstellar soundtrack.

The concert was hosted by Jakob Stegelmann and conducted by *Antony Hermus* (NOT Rory MacDonald - sorry for the mistake. This will be changed in upcoming videos!). The performance was orchestrated by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra with help from the 'Camerata' and 'Hymnia' choirs.

The original soundtrack of Interstellar was scored by Hans Zimmer.

Liverpool born John Murphy began scoring movies at the age of 25. In 2001, following the success of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, he moved to Los Angeles.

Since then he has worked with some of the industry's most respected and luminary filmmakers, including Michael Mann, Danny Boyle, Guy Ritchie, Stephen Frears, and James Gunn, producing film scores as prominent and diverse as Sunshine, Kick-Ass, The Suicide Squad, and the seminal 28 Days Later.

After Kick-Ass Murphy set up the record label Taped Noise and began work on several non-movie projects. His latest film ‘The Suicide Squad’, with James Gunn for Warner Bros, will be released on August 6.
