I just found this lost demo. This was the first draft of the song that later became Untouchable. This was the version I sent over to Vi Flaten to see if it was something she'd like to contribute vocals. You can hear my original guitar part that she later turned into her vocal melody.

Lockett Pundt has never shied away from spiraling fractals of guitar-based ephemera, charting new routes of art-punk and experimental pop with Deerhunter, while creating breaths of cyclical dreamgaze under solo moniker Lotus Plaza. While ever earnest, seldom has Pundt reached the degree of intimacy found on Overnight Motorcycle Music. The EP's two offerings subscribe to a comfortably isolated space, while reducing LP's assured nostalgia to its solemn core.

"Indian Paintbrush" unfurls its quietly disarming movements, exploring dimly lit textures and muted tones, once enigmatic yet still warm. Nary a rhythm section to be found, and clocking in at just under 14 minutes, it is a rigid masterpiece of modest, guitar-based symphony.

Further down the psyche we are greeted with the softly haunting "Gemini Pt. 1" hosting sheets of tonal bliss ideal for the serenity of the open road, but crafted in the most confined quarters. There is little distraction here—simply some soul-baring.

A fun little mix I did late one night. BoC is one of my heaviest influences in music. I remember back when I was taking C++ in college; I was surfing slsk and happend upon an album titled "Twoism". From the first second I listened to it I knew that this was the music I was waiting to hear my whole life. That was 7 years ago.

Life Through Bombardment Vol. 2 collects every Eluvium recording made since the release of the first Life Through Bombardment set back in 2009. Packaged similarly to the first set -- a library-style clothbound hardcover book with seven distinct sleeves featuring new original artwork by longtime collaborator Jeannie Lynn Paske -- this is the first time these recordings have been released on vinyl. This awe-striking, super-deluxe set includes the albums Similes, Static Nocturne, and Nightmare Ending, as well as the b-sides, remixes, and bonus tracks that accompanied them. Also included is Wisdom For Debris, the rare album that accompanied Paske's art book of the same name, and finally Curious Things, a full-length bonus album of rare and previously unreleased material recorded from 2009-2015.

As with the first (long out-of-print) volume, Life Through Bombardment Vol. 2 is strictly limited to 1,000 copies. Each is hand-assembled and hand-numbered, and includes a removable library card signed by the artists.
