Wow, what an ultra smooth and polished track with an incredible musical and vocal delivery that is very present throughout. Had to really crank this one up in headphones to get the full and clear picture. So many musical layers and textures to get lost in as they weave in and out throughout the piece. I pictured a Viking funeral and tried to capture the sorrow and lament of its participants.
When the instruments fade at the end you will hear the earth rumble,thats the sound of the warriors passing to Valhalla....where Odin awaits with open arms.
The rumble is playing from the start,its always present.

Santi (from Asunción, Paraguay) and Tuğçe (from Istanbul, Turkey) left their homes to follow their dreams of music and have been road companions and musical partners for more than a decade. They collaborated on two full length-albums, four EPs and numerous singles which captivated listeners worldwide. With their 2016 EP El Regreso del Gallito, “Santi & Tuğçe rewrote Paraguayan folklore” (Thump Vice, Brazil) and with their Songs for My Grandmother, selected as one of the best albums from Turkey in 2017 by Beehype, they remade Turkish classics for contemporary audiences.  It's a hell of a piece and doing it on a MOOG Modular V (even in software version and without a "ready-made" sample) is a fantastic adventure and a hell of a job (first draft in 2007 and release in 2019), but I'm happy about it and if it pleases others... it's even better.

L'alarme Douce - Deepman & Luciole Langevine

Tried playing back in the room through speakers for drum and bass loud into a room. An external sampler allows you to track simultaneously while laying down bass. I think there is something about knowing the track you are playing to is being tracked at the same moment ensures that they always fit together. I used a beat up SP-202 for the beat that I resoldered in a crazy way, the board was cracked and I can't believe it still works. Cant remember where I got the drum sample might have been Max? I sat on this basic track for a long time, then imported phrases to Ableton ,which I have never really used, and hashed out a rough arrangement, Then did a bunch of overdubs which I ended up erasing. I think I enjoyed the more stripped down sound then the crazy sounds I was throwing on top. Its been a wild year. I didn't get much music done, probably my worst output for a year. Its a tough fight finding the time an energy and then keeping your head on what your doing. Sometimes it works to just re-work the whole thing from another angle and cut harshly. Hope all you future people reading this are taking care of this world. We all wanted to be the generation that did it, but the greedy pricks slipped into power, and corruption seems to only work in one direction, rarely are people corrupted into being more compassionate.

I have been experimenting with sounds since I was really young , when I was about 6 or 7 years old, after lots of pleading, from me, I managed to get my hands on a very old reel to reel tape machine, that everyone thought I was too young to have, and I discovered and loved recording. 
I played guitar and wrote songs in a indie punky band ,toured, made albums and worked in Studios. Now I work from my home studio in SW Germany,  using synths, groove boxes, guitars and vocals to produce electronic music. I also produce images through photography and  make ceramic sculpture.
