Well hello… are we having fun yet as we travel around the sun? First off, I do not know how to play piano. Bear with me on this. I am just learning hand and finger placement on the keyboard. I did not use any of that to do this song. Ha. A friend just gave me an older electronic keyboard that he dug out from all the dusty junk in his shed. So I have been noodling about and learning a bit of music along the way. I am also testing glass, as a percussion instrument. I already broke my favorite glass slide. (Just get a drum set Dude!) Hahaha. I am also exploring my vocal range, as an advanced beginner, when it comes to singing. You’ll hear that on this track, as the song is in a higher register than I am used to singing in. The first vocal stanza is just me finding my voice. Hahahaha. (I guess I need to try some pre-singing.) The recorder works but isn’t in the key of the song, so I had to wing in, insofar as melodies. That is what I like about music, these little creative explorations that develop into ‘music’. I had about an hour or so to lay this down… Outside summer distractions have cut into my music time. I decided to take another stab at this song (went down a rabbit hole for about 10 hours and completely re-played and re-sang the song).  I struggled with the vocals on my original version so I changed the key to E which made it easier to sing.

He was unable to talk, so he got a pen and showed the apes what he wrote
The apes realized he was intelligent, and it shook them to their core
And the forbidden zone was a place they weren’t supposed to explore
Taylor met a girl he named Nova, she couldn’t talk but she was pretty.
A couple of apes helped them escape to what used to be New York city
And they rode together on a horse on a beach that looked like the west coast
Until they found that statue and realized humanity was toast

I have been experimenting with sounds since I was really young , when I was about 6 or 7 years old, after lots of pleading, from me, I managed to get my hands on a very old reel to reel tape machine, that everyone thought I was too young to have, and I discovered and loved recording. 
I played guitar and wrote songs in a indie punky band ,toured, made albums and worked in Studios. Now I work from my home studio in SW Germany,  using synths, groove boxes, guitars and vocals to produce electronic music. I also produce images through photography and  make ceramic sculpture.
