The Carpenters are the Favourite band of all my celebrities.

Their songs have been a part of my childhood, my teenage years and even
now. Especially Karen's voice.
She had a fairly deep, medium-range voice, warm and colorful,
with an exceptional tone.
She was not only a singer, but also a very talented drummer.
Her brother Richard also has an extraordinary voice and does a lot of
backing vocals.

Their two voices alone amply cover the harmony of their tracks.
They're Unique.

I love this song; it's well-paced, as well as the bass and especially the drums.
For me, this song is very hard to sing, 
because the key starts off very low and rises quite high,
and the tempo also increases.

Honestly, I struggled to keep up with the rhythm in both choruses.
As I was saying, my voice isn't what it was 20-30 years ago. 🙂

There's this Flemish/Dutch expression "het spreekt boekdelen" which means something like "speaking volumes". In Flemish it means saying a lot, not with words but with a look or a gesture, usually in emotionally heavy situations. I wondered how one would put it if these emotions, however very present and clear to all concerned, would not be expressed at all. Hence the title "unspoken volumes".
I was reading about synth architecture then and wondered how an electric piano would sound like if I had to program it with a DX7. So I tried to emulate it using FM synthesis. The "unspoken volumes" theme came to me while messing about on the keyboard. The choir seemed like a fun contradiction to this idea of something unspoken.

My SoundCloud friend from the UK Martin Dean recently took me up on a suggestion that we create something beautiful together. Something spoke deeply to me while listening to his Cloud, and after about a month of consideration he settled on this improvisational piano piece of mine, and worked to orchestrate it along the 'less is more' principle. "Anytime" Electronic beats and bass,E-guitar and vocals, I was sidelined for a week or two working on a track that I eventually gave up on, It seemed like a total waste of time, but this often happens and I suppose it´s for the best, a little quality control goes a long way. I work on my sounds almost everyday into the wee hours more often than not, I was initially down after realising I had created a pile of rubbish (lol). this track though, was waiting in the wings and as soon as i played it (after a long a break ) I knew it was the one I should finish. The art work is a panoramic shot I made in Lightroom, hope you like it !

I have been experimenting with sounds since I was really young , when I was about 6 or 7 years old, after lots of pleading, from me, I managed to get my hands on a very old reel to reel tape machine, that everyone thought I was too young to have, and I discovered and loved recording. 
I played guitar and wrote songs in a indie punky band ,toured, made albums and worked in Studios. Now I work from my home studio in SW Germany,  using synths, groove boxes, guitars and vocals to produce electronic music. I also produce images through photography and  make ceramic sculpture.
