Track Description:
With, "It's Raining Somewhere Else", I wanted to take a slightly jazzy track and plunge it full-on into the romance, mystery, and drama of 1940's and 50's film noir scores.  Taking a page from Copland's "Quiet City", and the stunning work Jerry Goldsmith did on "Chinatown", and combining it with Toby Fox's music seemed an obvious choice, casting gloomy shadows over an imaginary nightclub and providing a musical backdrop to the "rain" of the title.  "It's Raining Somewhere Else" wouldn't be nearly the same without the fantastic playing of Kristin Naigus on English Horn, Sam Suggs on Bass, Doug Perry on Drums and Vibraphone, Ruby Toung on piano, and the amazing Andrew Steffen and Andrew Stern of The ETHEReal String Orchestra.  Their musicianship brings this to life.

Hey guys! This is an Amalgam remix collab I made with my wonderful friend Kamex! We started this a very long time ago but neither one of us actually bugged the other about it to finish it xD UNTIL NOW.

So yeah! We wanted to make this song longer but we were having issues because the song is so short to begin with and on top of that, it's very focused on sound design, so coming up with melodies for such a spoopy song was pretty tough. Anyways we hope you enjoy it!

Side note, I'd like to thank DulcetRefrain, SharaX, Asrio, Arcy, and of course Kamex for getting me out of my slump. I've been very demotivated with my channel recently because of the inactivity on it, which demotivated me even more, causing even less activity. It was a vicious cycle, but these wonderful friends helped pull me out of it. I'm really looking forward to giving you guys more remixes and content in general, and I especially look forward to being one of the first few to remix most of Sun/Moon's music, just like X/Y >:D
