Recorded sometime in the summer of 1991, ‘The Name' were playing various venues around the Island of Guernsey. Basil Allen acted as our friend, mentor, musical hero and all round good egg!! He joined us for various gigs around the UK for a few years till Carl Stanbridge joined us full time.  That Summer night at castle Cornet Guernsey, an appreciative crowd got to see him slap his bass unconscious. It took us ages to convince him to stand in the spot light, but with Jinadus good grace and Jon B's cajoling they put together this beuts funk instrumental.  Haven't heard this for about twenty years. Miss Basil since he's gone, sometimes if you listen carefully you'll hear him as the thunder, or the rumble over the hills, thats the low end of his red bass rattling your teeth - very cooly mind you.  XXX
