The LoveAmplified series of gently stirred mixes are snap shots in time that touch on the emotional textures this human experience affords.
They are a form of musical storytelling and within that is a space for healing, safe expression and as with all forms of art... a canvas where anything can happen when we surrender to the flow and allow our heart to guide the way.

There is a vulnerability in this space. There is a tenderness. There is a humanness that is exposed. My mind wants to control while my Soul whispers let go. My body tenses as the vibration loosens any constriction.

On a physio-spiritual level, there is also a breath of life that forever inspires its Self breathing creative consciousness into each and every single cell... remembering, recognizing, reconnecting, realizing... there is an intimacy that is beyond any expression when we surrender to the depth of our Soul and get out of our own way. A feeling within rises and ignites what cannot be expressed through intellect or any mortal interpretation... only experienced.

These mixes don't subscribe to any format, specific genre, style, bpm, categorical proposition other than the expression of whatever shows up in the moment...

Evolving from ambient soundscapes into high energy dance rhythms – clapping, stomping, primal movements, flowing, whistling, smiling, energy rising – the music takes over and the endorphins rush, sweat beads and we disengage from our mind and move through our heart! Ahhh yes! After the peak, we begin to descend into a restorative meditation integrating the joy, celebration and ecstasy of the experience. Renewed and revitalized.

Plus Plus is here to keep the vibes going all summer long! After digging through out back catalog to produce some remixes for his previous release, Ared is back with with an outstanding EP that delivers sun soaked vibes for lazy afternoons. From the emotional and uplifting strings and keys on “Real Hope”, to the tight drum driven grooves and forward bassline on “Intro”, Ared’s once again shows off his distinct approach to melodies and harmonies while keeping the grooves grounded.

New comer Drymouth takes a focused approach on “Real Hope”, creating an electro influenced throw back vibe with it’s broken drums and sequenced synth lines that harken back to days gone by. The arrangement is a no frills affair that delivers the goods and doesn’t hold back.

LoveAmplified makes his much anticipated return to Plus Plus with his remix of “Real Hope” Stripping it down to to a few fundamental bits from the original, LoveAmplified builds it back up into deep and chugging house vibes. And as luck would have it, LoveAmplified was kind enough to include an instrumental as well for those late night vibes.

Wrapping up the EP we have Odøn tearing down “Intro” and creating a downtempo remix with shades of trip hop. Odøn’s slinky drums and hazy vibes are on full display. While the drums may be loose and lively, Odøn’s attention to detail is anything but. With a thoughtful arrangement and every synth complimenting it’s counter point, Odøn creates a remix where the whole is greater than the sums of it’s parts.

The Sacred Sound Experience integrates your experience from the divine into your physical form.  As time and space have no definition, this integration will continue to work and have its way with you for quite some time.  The more that you allow and release, surrender and receive; the more profound of an experience you will have. 

What you will need: yoga mat, a pillow for head and knees, a blanket, something to cover your eyes and any other items for your comfort in laying on the floor.  In addition, if you have any incense, candles, essential oils or other ceremonial tools that would deepen your experience.

How to Best Experience Your Sound Experience

Incorporating breathwork with your Sound Experience deepens, expands and amplifies your practice. Please be sure to consult your physician to see if breathwork is a safe practice to implement.

Allow yourself to experience this fully. You will need approximately 65 minutes of uninterrupted time. Remember, this is for YOU.

Once you are in a comfortable position and have initiated the Sound Experience, allow your eyes to close. You may wish to place your right hand on your stomach and left hand on your chest to confirm your breathing pattern. You will begin to breathe deep into your diaphragm through your nose, as deep as you can. As you inhale, you will feel your right hand rise. Just when you cannot breathe any deeper, take a quick inhale again through your nose and release, exhaling completely through your mouth. Continue this breathing, rhythmically, for the first 3 songs. Don't worry whether you are doing the breathing correctly or if you have no idea when the 3rd song is. Simply focus on your breathing with integrity and allow for the experience to take on its own direction. By the 3rd song, you will be deep within your experience. At any point, if you are distracted, simply return to the breath.

At the conclusion of the Sound Experience, you may wish to take your time before engaging in any other activity. Nourish your body with healthy food and water. Offer gratitude for your experience and if anything came forward, you may wish to make note of it. These sound experiences are designed to reveal and bring discord into harmony.

LoveAmplified 008: Rooted In Space

Plus Plus very own Fall compilation for 2019 is here! With a mix of old and new, we really feel this compilation has a distinct character and vibe start to finish, with a consistent and logical flow start to finish. From the opening vibes of Chlorophyll’s beatless version of “Phazed” with it’s liberal use of delays and modulation to create a hazy atmosphere with the initial pads growing in size and impact that flows to the laid back and slinky drum work of Kiano Below Bangkok’s “Green Monster, our compilation sets an early tone for the rest of the release off the bat. 

We have new comer Lansdub with “Still”, a hypnotic grinder from his upcoming EP. With a groove that heaves and pulls with a subby bassline and chords over top that roll and move, it’s a perfect compliment to another newcomer on the label. Francisco Aguado’s “Spring Air” has gente horns that swirl around with a lo-fi drums groove that starts to align itself with a more 4 to the floor vibe. The mysterious Kári  follows up with here Francisco left off, with “Vestrahorn” providing a solid 4/4 groove to open and push the track. waves gently crash around the track while over saturated guitars swell with emotion. Label head Jason Bay’s “Ripcord” strips out the fluff and brings a tight drum groove with female vocals floating around dubbed out guitar riffs. Garden Party’s “The Royal Burgh of Banff” may seem a bit off brand for the man himself, but upon closer inspection you notice his rough, driving drums are present and a deep bassline that drives the track is front and center. 

After a bit of a hiatus, Hunter Sanchez makes his triumphant return, with Koala along for the ride as well. A back to basics approach, “Winter White” showcase the power of a well crafted and yet simple drum groove while oozing lush, organic chords. Nicolas Recalde & Daniela Alban start to bring the compilation to it’s logical finale with “Virtual Rootz”, a stripped down house vibe that represents the post-minimal movement with tight, organic drums and relentless driving groove that never pushes too far. LoveAmplified picks up with a strong african inspired groove on “Enchiladas Tonight”. With a guitar drone underneath and male vocals overtop to compliment swirling chords, this track will keep you moving start to finish.

Juni Staub is bringing us down the homestretch with his signature crips drums along side a tight bassline. “Sub Sunset Dreamers” synth line over top provides the final touch to a haunting track. St. Xose & Lorenzo Slider go all out with a vintage underground New York house track. This is the instrumental version of “Super Longevity” off their upcoming EP with us. Features rough drum track that sprints it’s way to the track with a sequenced synth line that builds tension through to the end. MYR brings our Journey to the end with the lush vibes of “Mr. Blinder”. Analog toms provide the back bone to the while lush chords hoover over top, bringing us to the natural conclusion to this journey. Plus Plus starred out strong in 2019, and we are finishing on a high note with this release while proving a sneak peal into a few of our upcoming 2020 releases.
