For his second release on Dantze, Rampue got Rosa Lux with her fantastic voice and I'm not a Band for the authentic strings on board. They will show you, that there's also an unhurried wilderness above the clouds. The second original Leporidae is what you expect of the typical mysterious Rampue sound. The latest instalment from @Roam-Recordings comes from acclaimed Belgian producer and DJ @CabaretNocturne who has previous releases on labels such as Beachcoma, My Favorite Robot, Nein, Factor City, and Rotten City.  

His new EP for Roam Recordings is a fine addition to his already excellent discography. The title track Western Ghost sets the stage for this EP that sounds like it could be from a movie set somewhere in the desert outside of LA. 

The Western Ghost EP  comes with one other original 'Lost Town' and rounded off with excellent remixes from Kieran Holden and Damon Jee. Both of these accomplished producers take on one of the originals and deliver their own spin within the theme of this EP.

John Lemke is a Glasgow based artist, originally from Berlin.

Working across a great variety of media he has spent the last years exploring music and all things sonic through collaborations, live performance, film sound design and especially his work as a documentary film composer.

Motivated by fusing elements of his more emotive film composition approach with rhythm and space, John has created a distinctive sound world on his forthcoming debut solo album, where abstracted guitar landscapes collide with percussive, prepared piano and disembodied vocal textures to form a danceable, electro-acoustic whole.
