Jan Vavra, aka John Waver releases his first trance production since April 2013. He is no stranger to our label, churning out a string of releases between 2010 and 2013. This much anticipated release consists of a superbly crafted 3 track EP entitled 'Mythologica'.

John shows so much diversity of style and energy with the EP. Expect some very melodic and uplifting sounds mixed with some elements of progressive. Odyssey and Icarus are slower tempo tracks, delivering a real summery vibe.

On the flip side, Apollo is more chunky, with superb bass and drive. Lots of plucks, pads, and heavenly sounds.

All round a great piece of craft, and a much welcomed return to the scene!

John Waver (own name - Jan Vávra) was born in the Czech Republic in 1986. He has been fascinated by music and particularly its composition since early childhood. Following initial amateur attempts involving acoustic guitars and keyboard synthesizers, he first began experimenting with a sequencer in 1999. In 2000, his interest turned to Trance music, which he also began experimenting with shortly a...fterwards. Throughout his career, John has been profoundly influenced by his good friend Miloš Rydval (aka Miles Reed), who shared his passion for musical composition since primary school and whose acoustic musical background enabled him to teach John a great deal about music theory and the melodic side of music. From 2001, John attended an industrial college in Prague, specializing in sound technology. There he gained technical knowledge and skills vital to his future development as a composer.

At the beginning of 2008, his remix of the Sierra Nevada single by First State received a positive response from the wider public. This success resulted in the collaboration with DJ F1d0 on the radio show Fresh & Juicy, airing several times a month on radio www.trance.fm since the autumn of 2008, as well as cooperation on joint projects.

In year 2010 he release his singles Thunderstorm, Morpheus and more is coming. John made a remix for Ronny K to track called T.A.S.H.

At the beginning of 2011, John come with four singles and a few remixes. It seems that this year will be full of John's release. In preparation is the cooperation with great trance djs and composers. John is already preparing his first EP under the new alias, which will focus more on club music.

His singles is already remixed by Ronny K, Soundlift, Thomas Coastline, Newton, Kenan Teke and many more.
