I had some fun asking out on socials whats your favourite part of the show, Deep or Turbo mix? It was conclusive response the Deep mix stood out as favourite and thankfully shows you’re trusting me with my musical vision into the future. Deep is in the roots of my sound/heart, but don’t just associate this with slow tracks, I’ve always had a driving edge although there’s a slight void in this world, I’m working hard to fill it.  

I’m a DJ that creates a musical journey in clubs so it makes sense for me to do the same on my radio show and would rather do this with no interruptions in one flowing mix. As a test this month I’ve created a lovely flowing mix giving you brief disruptions of tracks as the mix progresses along with introducing the guest, and would like your feedback in the comments of socials/Soundcloud etc, if you prefer it this way I’ll keep it this way.

The first edition of JOOF radio is born, a new beginning in broadcasting with a fresh restart avoid of genre tagging allowing a DJ like me that’s know for playing longs sets breathe musically. Though I have this freedom in clubs, having a genre attached to my radio show always felt like a hinderance, especially as genres are always evolving into different places.

While putting my mix together this month it reminded me of the wonderful days of the Progressive Trance era in the 90’s. John 00 Fleming is an artist who has achieved international success in a career spanning over 30 years without dishonouring his musical essence or fans. A DJ that's known for his music knowledge, a proven musical pioneer and a leader.
His career started at the age of 15 playing his part in the exploding UK rave scene, DJing and promoting evens across the South Coast that soon got the attention of the London underground scene resulting in multiple residencies that instantly put him in the sights of the worlds music media and major record labels opening the doors to his international career.

John went on to mix and compile 40+ DJ mix compilations for labels such as Virgin, Telstar, Sony, and Universal that secured his rise to the top, Gold discs line his studio walls celebrating over 10 million sales along with the worlds leading music store Beatport making John artist of the month acknowledging his investment, loyally and dedication to the electronic scene.
His ability to constantly move forward musically has kept him on the cutting edge frontline of the electronic world throughout his career gaining resect from peers along with building a cult following as he continues to break boundaries of electronic music and genres making him one of the most unique DJ’s on this planet seeing him perform across multiple genres events, yet keeping his integrity in tact with what fans call ‘The JOOF Sound’. The JOOF sound is as unpretentious as the artist, and is best described as deep textured and hypnotic. Performing regularly at the likes of CreamVields festival, EDC festivals, BOOM Festival, Ozora festival, Tomorrowland along with a huge list of clubs from Ministry of Sound, Avalon and Zouk shows just how diverse his attraction is.

As a music producer John’s esteem within the industry has garnered respect from electronic luminaries like Jean Michael Jarre and Muse and while humbly accepting peer endorsement he continues to let his production skills do the talking. Following the release of his artists albums ‘Nine Lives’ and ‘One.hundred.ten WKO’, John switched his focus to scoring for major TV networks and Vilms, working alongside The Royal Philharmonic orchestra at the famed Abbey Road studios, London (home of The Beatles) where his work has featured in numerous movies.
