Acoustic guitar solo piece.  Music I play in the early hours or just to relax/meditation. This is a gentler side of my guitar playing.  I used my Ovation MT37 for this with D major 9 tuning. This like all other pieces is free to download.

I've had this backing track for a while and I decided to put a Stairway feel to it though the final few bars of each section is different.  I used several ideas from the original 71 recording also some riffs from the recording for song remains the same and a lot of JP add libs.  I decided to put this out after hearing the great version of Stairway by Tony & Roger.

Guitar Player since 76! Enjoy playing and performing guitar in any style/genre.  Regularly play 6 & 12 String Acoustics, Classical & Electric Guitar.  Love alternative tunings. 
Love writing solo guitar pieces and have written pieces for other instruments.  Had 1, 2 & 3 position on Vitaminic & Peoplesound in Avant- Guard Jazz section back in 2000 with a Double Bass & Clarinet piece.

Recently started writing again with an old friend Terry Hindle which I have thoroughly enjoyed.  Check out Terry's section as well.  He is a 1st rate songwriter and there will be many more collaborations.
