Love the harmonic development when the horn comes in.  Fine guitar playing and vocal.  The song has a plaintive quality almost as if it were keeping a secret.

When Sean (http://soundcloud.com/something-memorable) suggested we do something together I was only too keen to work with him. Sean's work always resonated with me (we're probably stalked by the same demons) and I really felt it an honour. When he sent me the lyrics, it was almost immediate that the melody came - as if those lyrics set the melody by themselves. They were utterly moving, and when I hear them in song, I still get the shivers. Thank you so much Sean. And your arrangements are most superb indeed. What a pleasure working with you!

I have loved and respected trees all my life, drawing, painting and photographing them through many decades, and now I am learning to carve, which is a beautiful experience.
A couple of months ago while walking in our local park, which is full of mature trees, I sadly saw that they had begun cutting down a big Oak tree (probably 100-150 years old). I heard that it was too near a new adult play area, and then probably diseased. I felt a bit of me being ripped out. It stands at the moment as you see it in the photo, as the Lockdown came, and all activity ceased. 
So much has to change now, and we have to totally understand just how vital things like Trees are. We would struggle to exist without their strong network, above and below!
Duir is the old Celtic Ogham for Oak, much loved and respected by the Celts, as were many trees, giving life to our World, connecting and providing so much.
Stay safe everyone, and try to keep loving and caring <3
