Having not recorded anything from 1990 until 2023, I recorded this with my old band-mate Chris Larsen last year as a warm up session for some other stuff we were doing. 
For those who thing cover versions should be completely different from the original version (and I agree) in this instance we went for a complete copy (musically) because I wanted to test out some of the new "analogue sound" plugins available and thought it would be interesting if we could do something that sounded like the 1973 original single from DB.

I have been remixing this track from David Byrne and Brian Eno's Album "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts".
This mix is a bit in-your-face but I quite like it. I may post some more subtle mixes soon.

Help Me Somebody (Byrne & Eno) (remix)

I always loved Martin Rushent's productions in the 1980s, working with the likes of The Associates, The Buzzcocks, The Stranglers, Pete Shelley, Altered Images and others. His pièce de résistance in my opinion was Dare! by the Human League and the remix album "Love and Dancing". Sadly Martin Rushent died in 2011. This small tribute is a remix I did of the track "Come to Your Senses" from the second album by my own band the Beach Bastards. I have re-imagined it as it might have sounded if we had been privileged enough to have Martin at the controls! 

There are no samples from the album Dare used in this recording, but I bought a collection of LM1 samples from a guy who owned one - allegedly formerly owned by Warren Cann from Ultravox. They are triggered by a EXS24 software sampler.
The synth is a G-Force clone of the Oxford Synth Co Oscar.
