"We wrote this track (and forthcoming EP) as a musical love letter to our favorite club and musical institution, Bossa Nova Civic Club. A devastating fire put the club out of commission recently and all proceeds from this release will go towards supporting its staff and reconstruction. Bossa has been a musical home for many - including us, having both thrown parties there. The street corner out front, depicted on the cover, and where we met over a spliff a few years back, is the backdrop for conversations that serve as a glue for our rich music scene. Thank you for listening and to the label for giving us a home for this project. We hope to see you again soon on that iconic checkered dance floor."

Black Cadmium (naive / ovum) a duo hailing from Rotterdam, have been friends since 2000 and are working with second hand Detroit DNA. 1/2 of the duo, Mike Richards, is in New York and will be playing a special b2b extended set with John Barera. They will reminisce musically about the rich Rotterdam techno and house scene that means so much to them. Mike came up in that scene around the same time Barera got into techno music in Rotterdam, when he was going out to see DJs like Benny Rodrigues.

Acid Camp is excited to announce a new compilation album. The album celebrates the label’s 10 year anniversary with 35 artists—of which 25 are releasing with the label for the very first time.

As the largest release in the record label’s history, Acid Camp: 10 Year Anniversary Compilation dramatically expands upon Acid Camp All Stars Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (both 2018) with more than triple the number of featured artists. Ten return to the label, including Eric Cloutier and Jeremiah Chiu, while Abby Echiverri, Bézier, Force Placement, and 32 more celebrate their first track with Acid Camp.

From Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Berlin to Tokyo, the artists represent the breadth of the underground and independent music scenes of the 2020s and underscore the collective strength of Acid Camp’s community since 2013. The release spans dancefloor-forward acid house and techno to ambient, downtempo, and funk selections. Lyrics are cut and collaged; synths are squelched; grooves are grooved.

100% of the album's profits will be donated to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), founded over 30 years ago in 1991. PCRF is the leading nonprofit organization providing medical care and diverse humanitarian assistance to countless children in the Middle East.
