A short and unstable/wobbly/drunk improvisation performed on an old Yamaha PSR-300 keyboard found in the trash. The keyboard is now taken apart (the keyboard circuit board broken into two pieces) with the hope that it some day will be put together to form a smaller and more portable keyboard.

Computer Concerto Remix

Denna låt kan ses som ett sidoprojekt i Sommarkomponering 2011. Jag fick idén att göra en helt akustisk låt, men då den blev så nedstämd och lugn bestämde jag att bara behålla den som den var, som ett sidoprojekt.

Här används en akustisk gitarr som en cello, kompgitarr och melodiplonk, tunna dricksglas som bakgrundsljud, fiol som melodiinstrument, melodica som melodiinstrumemt, fotpall som bastrumma, tamburin som tamburin och min röst som sjungredskap.

Spring Iväg

Detta är låten Time Travel från Sommarkomponering 2011, del 1.

Den första delen bjuder på ett sammarbete med Johanna Persson som också sysslar med musik på fritiden. Låten är skriven med hennes musiksmak i åtanke, och utan att gå in för mycket på den biten blev det huvudsakliga målet med låten att få till ett sound som liknar dagens mainstreamutbud.

Kompande gitarrer fungerar mycket bra som rytminstrument samtidigt som de ger en bred ljudbild. Därför har jag en nylonsträngad plus en stålsträngad gitarr som får utgöra en slags grund. Den övriga bakgrunden utgörs av datoriserade stråkar samt några högfrekventa instrument som spelar enkla melodier. Trummorna ger drivet i låten främst med bastrumman, men i refrängerna hjälper även en maracas till att förstärka rytmen. Den instrumentala delen innehåller fioler vilka på grund av mitt osäkra spel fick tonkorrigeras i datorn.

Överlag är jag nöjd med resultatet. Soundet kunde varit ännu mer åt mainstreamhållet, men om inte annat har jag fått bättre insikt i vad som krävs för ett sådant. Sannerligen är jag även mycket nöjd över Johannas insats!
