Cheema — derived from the Italian "cima" (ˈʧima), as in “cima di rapa,” “cima di cola,” “cima di Bitonto,” etc. — serves as the human instrument that brings the traditions of Puglia to the club, utilizing electronic music as a universal language for cultural sharing. Since 1996, Cheema has been an integral part of the music scene, starting as a DJ, progressing to a producer, and eventually becoming a live performer with advanced sound management technologies.

The acquisition of new live techniques has enabled Cheema to experiment and collaborate with over 60 musicians to date. This exploration has resulted in diverse musical proposals spanning various genres. Cheema extends the voice of Apulia worldwide with care and special attention, finely balancing the elegance of electronics with the rich tradition of local dialects. This delicate equilibrium exists on the spectrum between experimentation and a dancefloor atmosphere.

“Daunia Disko” is an energetic electro-funk tune propelled by almost shouted vocals in the dialect of Monte Sant’Angelo (FG). The voice is extracted from the archive of Memorie Audiovisive della Daunia. Connaisseur stalwarts Of Norway have taken over the remix duties, delivering a powerful piano house track with a hint of acid and half-broken beats.

Versatile producer, party-starting DJ and an innovative and successful event promoter Bart Skils deserves his reputation as one of the most well respected players in Hollands thriving and dynamic techno community. Tronic are proud to welcome Bart to the label for his debut EP featuring two jacking tech house cuts.

Dust, which features vocal samples taken from the track So Get Up by Underground Sound Of Lisbon, has all the makings of one of the tracks of the summer with the hooky vocals, infectious rolling beats and sub-bass hum all combining to make a high impact track that will no doubt cross over to a wide range of DJs.

Santiago works a more stripped back groove over a jacking rhythm track and looped riifs to give an heads down feel that retains the funked up snappiness of the EP while adding some melodic moments via shimmering keys and bell chimes.

John Creamer is a highly influential DJ, producer, and songwriter who arrived in New York in the early 90s. He managed Eightball Records store and then became the head of A&R at the legendary Eightball Records label. In 1994, he formed the Butter Foundation, an acid jazz collaboration, with Konrad Carrelli, and they released music on Apollo, a division of R & S Records. In 1995, Creamer met Stephane K, and they became the production duo Creamer & K, producing some of the most iconic production and remixes for artists like Moby, New Order, iiO, Sinead O’Connor, and Kosheen. Creamer has also established his own label named NYLove, created a clothing line, and currently collaborates with Noam Rubinstein under the moniker Up All Night. Creamer is known for his solid and durable DJ sets of New York City deep, sexy, progressive underground house grooves with a personal flair for vocals, and has performed at various venues worldwide.
