Was wird wohl mit unseren Protagonisten auf der Insel, die ihn einst so unliebsam aufgenommen hat, passieren? Simon Rucker gewährt uns einen weiteren kleinen Einblick in seine liebevoll aufgebaute Parallelwelt. Umrahmt wird die Episode von Guzy. Der das ruhige Leben auf der Insel und die daraus ergebenen Gedankenspiele mit seinem atmosphärischen Sound wunderbar einfängt.

Maria wartete irgendwo am Ende der Welt auf mich. In Stuttgart war es vermutlich inzwischen Herbst geworden. Hier brannte die tropische Sonne auf meine stählernen Schultern. Vom Klettern und Bauen war ich stark geworden. Ich mochte meinen Körper, berührte ihn gerne. Vielleicht wartete sie auch nicht. Ich hatte mir keine Robinson-Strichliste erstellt, nahm an, dass ich seit etwa zweieinhalb Monaten hier war. Sie wartete nicht. Wozu auch. Ich musste in ihren Augen tot sein. Sie hatte mich nie gebraucht. Ich hatte sie immer vermisst. Ich stellte mir vor, dass sie das gleiche machte wie immer. Dachte von Zeit zu Zeit an mich. Aber dann auch mal nicht.

Es war das 21. Jahrhundert. Wie lange konnte es dauern, bis ich hier gefunden würde? Höchstens fünf, sechs Monate hatte ich mir berechnet. Dann hätte ich auf irgendeinem Radarschirm oder Computersatellitenprogramm leuchten und piepen müssen. Kein Zweifel. Dann wäre man mich holen gekommen. Ich hätte unter Jubel und Glückwünschen auf dem Schlossplatz meine Geschichte erzählt. Maria wäre auch da gewesen. Aber es wäre mir egal gewesen. Denn ich wäre frei gewesen. Hätte der einsame Wolf sein können. Hätte nicht mehr darauf warten müssen, dass sie mich zu lieben begänne. Mein Bart wäre lang gewesen, die Haut braun. Viele Worte hätte ich nicht verloren. Zurück in die Business-Welt wäre ich nicht mehr gekehrt. Es reichte. Ein für alle Mal. Stattdessen wäre ich auf meiner Veranda gesessen und hätte Bücher geschrieben über meine einsame Insel. Bestseller nach Bestseller.

Auf einer Lichtung am Waldrand über dem Strand hatte ich mein Haus errichtet. Es lag wie auf einem kleinen Balkon über dem Meer. Zwischen Sand und den Klippen. Mein Haus bestand aus Palmenwedeln und dicken Ästen, die ich im Wald gefunden hatte. Befestigt durch Steine so schwer, dass ich sie gerade noch tragen konnte. Ob die Konstruktion einem Tropensturm standhielte, wusste ich damals noch nicht, war aber guter Dinge. Im Innern gab es so viel Platz, dass ich aufrecht stehen konnte und mein Bett aus Zweigen und Blättern lag an der hinteren Wand. Bei Regen war es trocken, den Wind hielt es ab und von den Sonnenstrahlen drang wenig hinein.
Und dann sah ich es...

We Need Crack’s made the more subtle remix of the two. It starts out dreamy which is strengthened by a kind of vocal-like pluck. Although of its dreamy vibe the track has something clubby as well. A light arpeggio slowly works towards a break after which the bassline is finally introduced. The moment they make you yearn for so badly. The arpeggio works in perfect harmony with the bassline as if it is floating on the waves of a deep sea. A perfect addition to this great EP!

Holy Rage - Snippet

JDL aka Gianluca was born in Padua, Italy.
Learning how to play various instruments from a very early age made him the talented composer, researcher and producer he is today.

He has collaborated with many different artists such as "Navigazione Interna", "The Fellowsheep", "Never ending collision" as the main band’s percussionist and occasional pianist as well as following in-studio direction and sound engineering.
In parallel he has collaborated with private and public music schools as orchestra's percussionist.

Gianluca moved to London on January 2014. 
Since his interest to the underground music scene, he founded the music collective and event organisation "DOOR3" which he organised events, produced and played electronic music under the name of "John D. Luke". Gianluca was also involved in composition and production of music scores for shorts and commercial, achieving first places in festivals such as the 'portobello film festival' as best drama.

Gianluca moved back to Italy on March 2019.
He is currently working on a new Techno EP and various other project involving acoustic music and electronic beats.
