Well, I became enamored with the idea of having a pedal tremolo in my rig because the goddamn remote for my amp's built in tremolo ('67 Bandmaster) is janky as fuck. Until I get the time and nerve to mod the jack to a 1/4" TS instead of the RCA jack on the back, I will probably never use it. 
Additionally, I fucking love the sound of things slowing down and speeding up based on my pick attack, and I decided that yes, I do need an envelope controlled tremolo. While I was always hoping for a decent deal on a Spaceman Voyager I, I was getting impatient and did some research and found that the Subdecay Vagabond had some really cool features too. I figured what the heck, I'll just get the Vagabond and then someday when I get the Voyager I I'll shoot em out and keep my favorite.
Then on the day that I found a really great deal on a Black Voyager I #24/88, news of the  Voyager II crossing over the heliopause (exiting our solar system Nov 5th, 2018) started flooding into the mass media. I got permission from the wife and brought it home as a Christmas present for myself!
Interestingly, while this was all going down, another space mission (the Parker Solar Probe) was also making the closest approach to the Sun of any man made object in history on Oct 29th, 2018.
This was in my estimation a cosmic hint that I needed to keep both tremolos! In fact, it also gave me an idea about where to place them in my signal chain as well. The Subdecay which I bought a week earlier is now #1 in my chain (before my fuzz pedals even) and is representing the Parker Solar Probe. And the Voyager I is past everything but my flanger and last delay representing the Voyager 2, the Voyager 1 and the Pioneer 10 (the only 3 man-made objects that have left the solar system). This of course must mean that my MF108M and MF104M are the Milky Way and Galactic Center respectively! Lol
Anyhow, I really love the way these two circuits work together and I have the Vagabond going from Slow to Fast and the Voyager going from Fast to Slow to create these really crazy poly-rhythmic chopping effects that just sound awesome and feel really cool too. I read somewhere that Isochronic Tones (aka chopping sounds) are the best tones to use for brainwave entrainment, so I am now going to experiment with the stoniness of tremolo and see how far I can take my consciousness and music using the two of these in tandem.
