It was crazy when I made this beat, didn’t even remix anything over it for ages, was just mad content with the overall vibe and way I’d chopped the sample. I then remixed Daytona 500 over it, I had Raekwon’s verse at the start, and then Ghostface second, and I left out Cappadonna’s verse. ( https://soundcloud.com/tapeheadloops/mac-knowledge-knowledges  ) Back when I made that I knew that Ghostface sounded best over the first beat, the flow was perfect and his style fit all the beat cuts perfectly, so for this I had him at the start to bring that energy to the track as soon as the sample comes in properly. I didn’t use Cappadonna’s verse before cause I didn’t know how to reduce resonance in vocals back then, so it was dope to get his verse over the beat cause it matches it well I think. For Raekwon’s verse at the end I decided to switch it up and rework a really old remix, which had him over a grimier sounding beat which I always thought fit his style really well. I always rated the carefree but focused vibe of this track, hope people enjoy it!
