This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs.

It’s drum and bass this week and helping me Draw The Line with her guest mix in the 2nd hour it’s Marie Wilhelmine Anders who’s based in Berlin. In 2005 she began producing her own music using. Between 2018 & 2021 she released 4 albums incorporating the words of the Scottish poet, Robert Louis Stevenson, influenced by techno, electronica and ambient music. She has recently developed a love for drum and bass and her new album was mastered by DnB producer Sunchase and will be released by Broque. The mix you’re about to hear is also drum and bass and Marie has entitled it ‘Sleepless Night’.

Under the heat of July's sun, our improvised live set at Feel festival 2023 swirled together earthy tribal drums, celestial ambient textures, and hypnotic 303 basslines.

We're thankful for our friend Aveyeva, whose improvised dance was like a living flame supporting us. And gratitude to our dear friends who gathered in this sacred space - your energy was the wind in our sails taking our ship to new sonic shores <3

Each note, each sigh hung in the heat, resonating between us, connecting our vibrations, patterns emerging then dissolving back into the void.
