"No Filter" expresses an admiration for a woman’s natural beauty, both inside and out. For singer-songwriter JC, a filter isn’t just something you apply to a picture. It can be makeup, hair, clothing, seclusion, personality traits, addiction, and more. Some of these things may be admired but real love requires you to love the rawness of an individual as well. JC connected with his former labelmate, Jacquees, for a 5am studio session in Atlanta, GA; and the outcome was this jewel. Multi-platinum producer Marley Waters produced the track, and the cover art features Amy Deanna, who was Cover Girl’s first model with Vitiligo.

John Concepcion is a 27-year-old R&B artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He got his start in music at the tender age when his dad taught a young John to play the guitar. It was at this point that John’s father encouraged him to develop his voice and talent. In Junior High, John found himself rapping, being influenced by artists including Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Tyga.
