Super inspired by the sportsmanship of SonicFox / Arslan Ash and all the fighters at the EVO 2019 tournament, I finally recorded my first drum and bass mix. Using nothing but video game music, probably the most difficult mix I've ever put together.

My intention with my most recent video game mixes was to demonstrate the musical quality of video game music composition and how they evoke a sense of 'place' different from music made specifically for dance-floors.

Calosoma is a genus of large ground beetles that occur primarily throughout the Northern Hemisphere, and are referred to as caterpillar hunters or searchers. Many of the 167 species are largely or entirely black, but some have bright metallic coloration.
