Uncle Rainbow was the most popular club band going in Dallas Texas in 1976-77, packed the clubs 6 nights a week, had a great front man singer named Richard Oates, talented songwriter, Brent Bourgeois, who became a hit Gospel producer in Nashville at Word Records.

Description
Uncle Rainbow broke up in 1981, but has still remained friends, and came together in 2010 to raise money for Lead Singer Richard Oates' Liver Transplant. Richard has since passed on but the music of this great band will remain in the hearts and soul of everyone who experienced them.

I performed alto and tenor saxes, guitar bass, aa as keyboard, background, vocals, and lead vocals, Including my wife, Maria, who is also singing background vocals￼. I miss the times when doing concerts when everyone gave their attention and was not looking at their phone or filming the show￼

Long John Baldry sings this beautiful Song inspired by British Columbia Haida Indian Artist Robert Davidson, that was part of a multi-media exhibit in Vancouver's Grouse Mountain. 
This was a photo I took of him on one of our last tours together through the Canadian Rockies.  At his memorial service, I put together a video presentation of his life, in photos, recordings, and soundtracks.  this song closed the service, and was a beautiful tribute to his Spirit.  When I remember my wonderful time in Vancouver, I remember this song.  The beautiful soprano singer is Ann Mortifee

These 32 songs were part of a project I did for a company who makes Digital Disks, for the Yamaha Disklavier Grand Player piano.  I did a few disks for the company and retained the audio rights to my performances. There were 2 Christmas disks, and these 32 songs were some of the top pop Christmas songs of all time.   These were recorded on Midi, and recorded on audio using the Native Instruments Alicia Keys piano sample, which is ultra realistic.  It was used exclusively on the Netflix Score of Queens Gambit.
