I hi-jacked the living room for its softer furnishings for a short  a while and recorded this partial of and "A minor study"  during the intro the walk in part (lolz) you can hear how sensitive the AT3035 is and get an idea of its dry sound, also the ticking clock which was removed for recording :D

Many moons ago I listened to a Jean Michelle Jarre Album one of my favorite tracks from the album was "Ron's Piece" as a Tribute in Remembrance of Ron McNair & his colleagues on Challenger Flight TS-51-L (January 28, 1986) I created my own inspired piece.

Freight Train - played out of my comfort speed zone. I'd like to play it perfectly at this tempo, more practice needed for that.

Recorded using the Seagull folks pre-amp through to the Tascam US122L, an external microphone works wonders on timbre/ambience and helps reduce finger friction noise but takes longer to set up, whereas this way is nosier but very quick to setup and most importantly fine for progress monitoring.
  
I used a stereo enhancer on the track and like the effect it produce in at the 19sec mark, there is a notable emphasis on the left hand channel this wasn't another guitar but it sounds like it :)
