The energy of Dead Stare is relentless and intoxicating, filled with driving thumping sounds that are always bringing everyone together at the dancefloor. Fusing variety of sounds and genres in the productions ranging from Mombathon, Global Bass to Techno, and with the recent tracks supported by one of the greats JSTJR, the sky is the limit for the talent that Dead Stare is.

DJ Rolow - Look Me In My Eyes

This is a refurbished recording of a set I played in June 2022 for the closing of the 36th Croatian Youth Salon exhibition in front of the Meštrović Pavilion, one of the most monumental modernist buildings in the Balkans. Today a leading art gallery in Croatia, Meštrović's building was once both a functioning mosque and a Yugoslav socialist revolution museum, so this mix — by any means applicable — is a testament to this history, blending the East and West, tradition and posterity.

Originally commissioned by @movement-radio-athens and produced by Onassis Stegi under @toumbaa's residency.

Midwest producers Kema & Moreit (@ke_ma & @moreit) present Trueque, a four-track release featuring three originals and a remix from Barcelona-based artist Phran (@phran)

Written between Iowa City, Minneapolis, and Chicago, the release moves through fast tempos and percussive frameworks. XXXL hits at 165 BPM, driven by a vocal sample and a heavy swing shaped by Kema’s touch. “Maravilla” and “Sacude” lock into Moreit’s raptor house and hardgroove-driven momentum, keeping the pressure tight and the flow locked in.

Phran delivers a remix of “Sacude” that amplifies the percussion and low-end weight into something even more hypnotic.
