Turning up with their debut transmission for Stil vor Talent, power outfit Anturage & Alexey Union clock in with heavy punching double-trouble. Full to the brim with raging EBM bursts and unrelenting arp-laden machine funk, 'Engage' is not one for the faint of heart.

An ebullient showoff of muscular big-room engineerings and in-your-face rhythmic assault, 'Engage' lets hell loose through a hail of puncturing kicks and sharp-as-a-dagger synth stabs moving against tide after tide of dance floor-submerging bass maneuvers. One to blast out loud with the EQ set to full-destruction mode, there goes a post-apocalyptic ripper of the boldest ilk. Fleshing out its equally sinewy framework with higher levels of disco and fun, 'Keke' is no-surrender body music in its purest essence, locked and loaded for maximal impact. Pulling out a battery of infectious bass pyrotechnics and heavily-processed android chatter, the track unfolds with enhanced climactic fury through a six-minute-long distribution of juggernaut knuckle sandwiches and cyclonic sweep kicks. Third salvo in our 20th anniversary series, here comes the much anticipated revamp of 'Copal' courtesy of label stalwarts, Hidden Empire. A true milestone in the evolution of Stil vor Talent, Oliver Koletzki's slo-burning classic 'Copal' gets a massive update from the experimented duo, dishing out the kind of top-to-bottom facelift that'll leave ravers on their toes throughout this six-minute-shy epic.

Holding onto the original's "catchy vocal and memorable hook", Hidden Empire rebuilt the track from the foundations up, fleshing it out with bass-heavy muscle, propulsive machine funk and strapping rhythms set to peak-time obliteration mode. Tapping in an "energetic vibe that feels right at home in the club while still preserving the atmospheric depth of the original", the pair morphs Koletzki's opiated mindtrip into an unstoppable club crusher, ready to take on any dance floor and get the crowd zoning out to a brutal collision of hi-velocity electro motifs, and meditation-friendly oriental strings and incantatory vocals.

Affiliated with some of the most prestigious labels in electronic music, including Kompakt, Ellum, Beesemyer Music, Siamese, and Anjunadeep, Monkman delivered the spellbinding track Siren for Kompakt and collaborated with Pete Tong on Ecstasis for Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio. His releases, such as the Komplex EP on Anjunadeep and the versatile Tune In Turn On EP for Ellum, highlight his remarkable range. With two Beatport number ones—his remix of Solomon Grey's Twilight and his single Don’t Have to Be Beautiful—Monkman has further cemented his influence on the global electronic music scene.

Equally compelling is Monkman’s remix portfolio. His remix of U Love for Sasha’s LNOE 100th release, supported by Patrice Bäumel and Sasha, showcases his creative versatility. The debut of John Monkman: Live at Coachella 2018 with The DoLab was a pivotal moment, revealing his innovative approach to live performance.

The year 2024 has been a defining chapter for Monkman. His latest live show, Pulse, premiered in Paris through a collaboration with Collectif Scale, breaking new ground with its kinetic light art installation. Filmed in a Paris warehouse on July 6th, this show delivers an immersive audiovisual experience that pushes creative boundaries.
