Matador - Drifting (Oliver Huntemann Remix)

Tale Of Us present a new collaboration with Vaal for the sixth release on their Afterlife label. Three years after they teamed up for ‘Concur’ and began to tour together, the trio return with their most anthemic offering yet. Vaal’s hauntingly-beautiful and instantly-recognisable vocals are the centre-piece on ‘Monument’, building on the style of her Wander To Hell EP (AL002). The drums and shimmering synth lines are moody and uplifting in the way Tale Of Us have made their own, arranged perfectly for the psychedelic breakthrough.

On the flip side, ‘The Hangar’ takes a different approach to equally devastating effect. It pumps with added urgency and a thunderous, steely bassline lunges out from the low-end. Designed for large soundsystems and big rooms, ‘The Hangar’ finds Tale Of Us and Vaal at their most direct and it’s something to behold.

Barnt and Stephan Bodzin, two artists whose stand-out performances at recent Afterlife events have made them firm favourites with the crowds, are tapped for the remixes (AL007). They both take on ‘Monument’, Barnt opting for a rolling, percussive direction and Bodzin more ethereal and transportive.

We’re thrilled to welcome Kincaid and Sinàl into the Beesemyer Music family with their new EP 'A Very Stable Genius’. The EP comprises of two original tracks 'A Very Stable Genius’ and ‘Uma’ with John Monkman providing the remix of the lead track.Both tracks showcase the new sound of these two pioneering London-bred artists. When asked about the EP, Kincaid and Sinàl explained: "Both tracks on the 'A Very Stable Genius' EP started their lives as odd, misfit creations of percussive and textural sounds. From these we wanted to create something using minimal elements, that still managed to take people on a journey through the sounds we've used. We wanted uncertainty, unease, and tension to be inherent in each track, which we hope will be clear from listening to both 'A Very Stable Genius' and 'Una’."

Co-label head Mathias Schober kicks off Lossless' 2020 with The Fall and releases his first entire EP after Continuing in 2018. For the EP's title track the eclectic producer invited Jaś from Atelier, who not only were responsible for Lossless' last release but also for the label's first album called Varsam Court. The Fall impresses due to its minimalstically held and well chosen selection of elements, which Mathias assembles to an intriguing basis that sets the backbone of the track and basically invites Ja to not only deliver some vocals but to sound new ways to effectively implement them. The result is an affectionate approach to music that overcomes physical borders by heartwarming and emotional vocals, leading to the rise of The Fall in these strange days.

John Monkman stands at the forefront of the global electronic music scene. Known for his dynamic performances and cutting-edge studio productions, Monkman has earned a reputation as both a live music pioneer and a master of sound design.

Affiliated with some of the most prestigious labels in electronic music, including Kompakt, Ellum, Beesemyer Music, Siamese, and Anjunadeep, Monkman delivered the spellbinding track Siren for Kompakt and collaborated with Pete Tong on Ecstasis for Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio. His releases, such as the Komplex EP on Anjunadeep and the versatile Tune In Turn On EP for Ellum, highlight his remarkable range. The debut of John Monkman: Live at Coachella 2018 with The DoLab was a pivotal moment, revealing his innovative approach to live performance.

The year 2024 has been a defining chapter for Monkman. His latest live show, Pulse, premiered in Paris through a collaboration with Collectif Scale, breaking new ground with its kinetic light art installation. Filmed in a Paris warehouse on July 6th, this show delivers an immersive audiovisual experience that pushes creative boundaries.
