this piece started out as a freestyle. i was playing the guitar and just venting about this moment that use to haunt me from time to time. it feels like a recovery piece because i didn't know i needed to get this out until it just started coming out my mouth as ii played these chords. its about the time i (((literally))) lost my mind in front of someone i was so in love with and he ended up leaving in the middle of of my breakdown because the trap was calling. i really needed him to stay and he didn't (he eventually came back but to me the damage was already done) and that had broke my heart at the time and things just really changed after that... i was so embarrassed y'all omg because i really just unraveled right in front of him, i felt so exposed and so vulnerable because i never seen myself like that . anyways reflecting on that time just speaks volumes. from it i learned that somethings are really simile.. we just don't like to pay attention until it hurts. we don't always have to learn things the hurt way... i mean the hard way.

And Then What?

sometimes i feel like i have no faith and i find myself crying and begging on my knees to be filled with the holy spirit so i can find my way. But i feel like sometimes God gets a good chuckles watching me run around in this lifetime (sometimes i drive myself crazy). i imagine him laughing and saying "aww look at my silly child , she's more than enough and well on her way and she really think she isn't.  let me help my baby."


interesting fact, i was living out of my red suitcase in 2017 and that was the most faith-filled time of my life... that the type of faith i need to tap into when I'm thrown an obstacle rather than crying any panicking on the inside
