At the edge of known space, you find a gateway pulsing with a stillness deeper than silence. It doesn’t lead forward or back, it simply is. Within its swirling core, a mantra echoes: that which is whole remains whole, even when divided. You don’t come seeking answers. You come to dissolve the need for them. This is a journey inward, toward the unbroken, the eternal, the infinite. Time unravels. Identity fades. You don’t return from this threshold. Not because you are lost, but because you become everything.

TIM TASTE returns to VISION SERPENT with a bold two-tracker that balances precision with depth. "INFINITE" rides on a hypnotic mantra, a meditative yet driving piece where pulsating grooves meet swirling atmospheres. The vocal invocation subtly weaves through the rhythm, creating a sense of transcendence anchored in motion "BASS KEEPS ROLLING" shifts into a more melodic space, layering airy textures and evolving pads over a fluid groove. A looping vocal threads through the track like a mantra of its own, drawing the listener into a warm, rolling current of sound.

Johnny Was born in September 5th 1987, Since he was a child Johnny has always been a keen lover of electronic music. At the young age of 7 he began collecting Techno and Trance records, while at the same time researching information on the history of the genres. At only 9 years old he started experimenting with turntables and learnt the art of DJ'ing thanks to the teaching of his elder brother. Despite only being a child, Johnny snuck into a nightclub to attend one of his brother's performances and instantly knew that DJ'ing is what he wanted to do. When he was still only 11 years old he began to develop an interest in production. Without anybody's help to show him the basics, Johnny started to dabble with simple programs creating various musical genres from House to Hard Techno & Trance. Johnny made his first public performance at the age of 16 playing in famous clubs in Italy and in 2006 he launched his own project called "Minimal Stars Project " Hosting events in his hometown of Verona, he played alongside his favourite local acts such as Andy Smile aka Egomorph and Stephan Barnem. In 2008 he began to publish his productions under the alias "Johnny Dj".

In 2010 He began to produce Dark Minimal Techno. His productions have been on the top charts for several times, either on Beatport and the other music download platforms. Johnny has been around Europe playing his sets in Berlin, Athens, Paris, Czech Republic, Finland and many more places. Renowned djs such as Richie Hawtin, Troy Pierce, Alan Fitzpatrick, Stephan Bodzin, Oliver Huntemann, Dubfire and an ongoing list have supported and played Johnny Aemkels tracks in front of the biggest crowds.

Anastasia Kristensen (@anastasiakristensen) first caught our attention around two years ago, and we’ve been waiting for the chance to bring her to Farringdon ever since. The young Danish DJ had as big a year as any breaking techno artist gets in 2017, appearing at respected places like Berghain and Unsound for the first time in between regular dates at her adopted Copenhagen home, Culture Box.

The recent surge in interest surrounding Kristensen isn’t without good reason. Her record collection has the suggestibility of an artist with an experience spanning decades rather than years, covering classic 90s-era Warp through to recent Houndstooth or Ostgut Ton. When she plays out she’ll make the jump between these usually disparate sounds within a few records, building sets that are as unpredictable as they are intense and encompassing. It’s how she’s played in her promo mix for us, which has only added to our excitement for her first appearance with us on 24th February.
