I'm super excited to present my new remix to kick off the 2015 Amsterdam Dance Event. 

After seeing Martin Solveig play in Ibiza 2015, The reaction of his House Anthem of the year "Intoxicated" was nothing short of intoxicating.

One of my best memories at Café Mambo 2015.

Continuing the journey from Ibiza to Amsterdam now & its really great to be back in Amsterdam, You just feel the buzz of this amazing city from the moment you land. Especially to be here at this time of year for the ADE is truly an amazing experience for any electronic dance music enthusiast.

On that note I'm really excited to present my new remix this week, fresh out of the studio & ready to drop!

DJ/Producer Johnny Apostal from Sydney, Australia, developed a very strong passion for electronic dance music through his childhood upbringing having started DJing at the very young age of 13 years old. His uncle who was also quite a popular radio dj at 2RDJ FM in Sydney back in the 80's, inspired him to learn the art of DJing and mixing records with turntables. This in fact led him to his next challenge which was starting to experiment with creating beats and remixing music. 

Diving deep into music creation software, such as cool edit pro & fruity loops back in those days, led him to the more professional music creation tools of today, such as Apple Logic Pro Studio & many 3rd party music creation tools, along with his favourite analogue synthesizers & drum machines which inspired him to make uplifting melodies, driving basslines & drum loops which came to life in his productions.

Always striving to be different from other electronic dj's and recording artists, Johnny says, his biggest inspirations has come from funk and synth pop music from the 80's. To this day his passion for analogue synths and drum machines like the Roland Jupiter 8, Juno 60, 808, 909 & Linndrum, are among his favourite instruments heard in many of his electronic music productions till this very day.

His production alias under the DJ/Producer group "Nyx Syrinx Nelio" was a true testament to that. Their releases on many respectable & reputable international record labels include Erick Morillo's, Subliminal Records, Armin Van Buuren's Armada Music, Ministry Of Sound, Vicious Recordings and the very famous Strictly Rhythm, New York.

With international DJ support from the likes of David Guetta, Tiesto, Pete Tong, Swedish House Mafia, Paul Van Dyk, Morgan Page, Axwell & Erick Morillo to name a few, his music has been played on popular radio shows, clubs and festivals inspiring people all over the globe.
