Billy Preston has always been an important figure in music for me, and I asked the very fine vocalist Martin Jones to join me with his soulful singing on this 70s classic.  Billy was always one of the funkiest keyboard players out there, and was often called the 5th Beatle.   Because of Billy's superb piano, synth and organ skills, he was a top session player and toured with many musicians including Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, The Beatles, Little Richard and Sam Cooke.  Here's our tribute to the late great Billy Preston, who wrote hits such as Space Race, Will it Go Round in Circles, Outa Space, That's the Way God Planned it and co-wrote You are So Beautiful, which Joe Cocker then made famous. From Wikipedia: "Mud daubers are not normally aggressive, but can become belligerent when threatened. Stings are uncommon." To this I can relate.

I am not a musician but music plays a very important role in my creative life! I am an artist/designer and music is my companion and my muse in the long hours I spend working in my studio! 
I am immensely impressed and grateful for all the talented and inspiring musicians whose work graces this Cloud, and I will always re-post sounds that I love (and will listen to again) - knowing that others will enjoy them!
I feel slightly embarrassed and quite humbled when I receive such graceful messages of thanks from artists whose work I have re-posted - after-all, I am the one who is so inspired by the discovery of your brilliant music!!!
